I say “some” because you can do it in a way that doesn’t scream “I’m promoting myself.“

I use contrast strategy all the time in my work//trainings, etc. for example, I contrast grinding harder with building energy, focus, and systems that actually last.

Yeah, I’m not gonna sugarcoat it. That’s bad. Lol. Mine is a quarter of that and it still annoys me. OK OK, maybe there’s a section in my office that is a disaster, but working on it. I put 20 minutes a day on my calendar to organize.

With those friends, I don’t bring business up very often, since we have other things to relate about. However, even some business owners still don’t understand because they run a vastly different business (owning an auto repair shop vs a coaching practice, for example). But still, some friends that don’t own businesses are supportive, regardless of their lack of understanding, so they ask questions to learn more about my world.

@Alicia Ortiz No tradition for me, it’s different every year. Last year I was on an air plane. Tonight, it’s dinner with some girlfriends and then a New Year’s party.
