Welcome, @Valentin Durez !!
In the weeds? Where to Start with Business Strategy
If you're in the weeds, you need a place to start. Start here. Start with Vision. Specifically Personal Vision. All roads lead to that! Then, reverse engineer the rest. Business Vision: 3Cs 4 Core Functions of Business: Think, which one is the weakest link? (Hint: It's likely the one you're already thinking) What's your area where you're in the weeds?

LOL!!! Love the musical touch. 🤟🏼 Anyway, almost time for the yearly review of my personal vision… Then business vision.

@Mark Dolfini ever since completing my personal vision and listening to it in my voice, I have applied much of it, such as putting certain things as a higher priority than they previously were, like learning Spanish and going for my running goals. Other aspects of it are more of a long-term game so the results aren’t as immediate, but all are in progress.

Welcome @Fallon J-G Davis !!! Quick question… how do you stay consistently engaged in communities like this?

@Fallon J-G Davis with this specific platform, I’m adding it to my calendar two or three times a week to check updates and watch trainings, etc. If it’s not on the calendar, it won’t get done, right? Lol.
My first Skool Call! (Is your business scalable?)
In this first call, I was honestly checking out how the platform worked, but let me know your thoughts? More content like this? Less? How much do you hate my face?

I have invested thousands in coaching. And although I had learned something extraordinary in each of my coaches/programs… None of them helped me scale the way I wished (normal, yes). Those were risky investments, but no regrets. However, in a system like this, I can see the value, there’s less risk, and I see it as a more sustainable approach. Plus, it has everything the other programs included like the community aspect, accountability, and education.

@Mark Dolfini me too!
What is your Business Health Rating?
Business health can be measured by a lot of things, these metrics are often referred to as KPIs (Key Peformance Indicators). Much like measuring blood pressure or body fat percentage, it's an indication of the overall health of a business. What KPIs are you familiar with in your Accounting Function? Which ones do you track? Which ones do you think you SHOULD track but don't? (no judgment here... it can be a struggle!)

I’ve actually never thought about KPI’s in terms of the accounting function. I’ve always thought of KPI’s in terms of my daily functions within my business. But after thinking about it more, would this include things like cash on hand, money in, money out, and things like gross margin and net profit?

@Mark Dolfini OK got it. That is funny, but makes sense.
