Lessons learned - I hate this
I recently had a friend of mine get hacked. Not in the lose your password or email sense...somebody took photos of his work and claimed it as his. This other business has been stealing his photos for years and posting them in contractor groups to get more work. So today, for him I built out an app that allows you to upload your watermark for your business simply by uploading your logo, then uploading your pics. The system asks for default placement but will scan to try and not take away from the picture but keeps your work credited to you. If you were ever on the paid platform, or have ever bought a service from Jen or I since we launched this app, you get access to it for free. I hate to see this happen to people...anyone else who wants access it's a one time fee of $99

@Patrick Murakami thanks! ☺️
Let’s come up with your next piece of content together!
Drop your business and what you sell in the comments, and I’ll give you a few specific content ideas you can actually use. No vague “educate your audience” advice. I’ll give you real post ideas based on your business, your offer, and the people you want to reach. Tell me: 1. What your business does 2. What offer you’re currently promoting 3. Who you want to reach Let’s get you out of the “what the heck do I post?” loop.

I own Story Path Travels, a boutique travel-planning business specializing in thoughtfully paced, story-rich journeys through the UK and Europe. I’m currently promoting my personalized trip-planning services for couples and independent travelers who want a meaningful European journey without the overwhelm of researching and coordinating every detail themselves. I’d especially like to reach busy professionals, empty nesters, and travelers aged 35–70 who value character-filled places, beautiful scenery, local experiences, comfortable pacing, and expert guidance.

Most people don't have the time or want to put themselves on video . UGC content allows you a fast forward with your likeness. This was made with heygen but many systems exist for this now This version of me is scaling faster than the real version of myself (trying to figure out why still) The picture, voice, music and video are all like me but are AI generated.

Thursday Prompt Drop: Turn Your “About Me” Into Content People Actually Care About
Most business owners introduce themselves like this: “Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a coach. I help women feel confident.” And listen, that is fine. But it does not always make people stop and think, “Wait, I need to keep following this person.” Your audience does not just need your job title. They need context. They need to know: - Why you do what you do - What you actually understand about them - Why your approach is different - What kind of problem you can help them solve Your story does not need to be dramatic to matter. It just needs to help people connect the dots between who you are and why they should trust you. Today, we are going to use AI to turn your basic “about me” into a better social media post. Copy and paste this prompt into ChatGPT or my preference Claude: I want to create an “about me” social media post that helps my audience connect with me and understand what I do. Here is my information: - My name: - My business: - What I do: - Who I help: - Why I started doing this work: - A personal experience that shaped my business: - What I believe my audience needs to hear: - What makes my approach different: - What I want to be known for: - My brand voice/personality: - What I want people to do after reading: Please turn this into a social media post that feels human, clear, and not overly polished. Give me 3 versions: 1. A short version 2. A storytelling version 3. A version that starts with a strong hook Also give me 5 first-line hook options. Bonus prompt: After ChatGPT gives you the post, ask: “Can you make this less generic and more specific to my audience’s real struggles?” That second prompt is where the good stuff usually starts showing up. Because the first version might be polite. The second version usually starts getting a little spicy. Your action step: Create your “about me” post and share your favorite hook in the comments. Remember: people do not connect with perfect. They connect with clear, honest, and specific.

I tried the “About Me” prompt, and this was a fun one because it made me think about not just what I do, but WHY I plan travel the way I do. Here’s what I gave ChatGPT: My name: Michelle Guldan My business: Story Path Travels What I do: I design thoughtful, story-driven trips through Europe, especially the UK and Ireland, with an emphasis on slower pacing, meaningful experiences, beautiful places, and the practical details that make a trip feel easy. Who I help: Busy adults and couples who want to experience Europe well, not race through it. Many are traveling internationally for the first time, returning after many years, or simply want someone knowledgeable to take the overwhelm out of planning. Why I started doing this work: Travel has been part of my life for decades. I was born in England, grew up there, lived in Europe, and have spent years planning detailed trips for myself, family, and friends. Eventually I realized that what I naturally loved doing could become something I could do for other travelers. A personal experience that shaped my business: After a serious accident, I spent about six years using a wheelchair before eventually learning to walk again with a cane. That changed the way I see travel. I notice pacing, distances, stairs, transportation, rest time, accessibility, and all the little things that determine whether a beautiful itinerary is actually enjoyable. What I believe my audience needs to hear: You do not have to see everything for a trip to be extraordinary. A well-planned trip should give you room to experience a place, not just check it off a list. What makes my approach different: I combine firsthand European experience, careful research, accessibility awareness, and a love of the small experiences that often become the best memories: the village café, scenic train ride, afternoon tea, quiet garden, local story, or unexpected stop along the way. What I want to be known for: Thoughtful European travel planning, especially England, Scotland, and Ireland, with itineraries that feel personal, beautifully paced, and genuinely doable.
Prompt Drop: Make AI Sound Like You
One of the biggest mistakes I see people make with AI is expecting it to magically know how they talk. It doesn't. AI only knows what you teach it. If you open a brand new chat and ask it to write an Instagram caption, it's going to pull from patterns it has seen across millions of pieces of content. That's why everything starts to sound... kind of the same. But here's the good news. The more context you give AI about you, the better it gets. When you teach it your personality, your values, your sense of humor, the words you naturally use, and even the phrases you avoid, your content starts sounding like it actually came from you. That means less rewriting, less frustration, and way less time staring at your screen thinking, "Why would I ever say it like that?" I spent a lot of time teaching ChatGPT how I naturally communicate, and now I'd guess I only edit about 10 to 20% of what it gives me instead of rewriting everything from scratch. Try this prompt in a fresh chat: I want you to become my personal writing assistant. Interview me one question at a time until you deeply understand how I naturally communicate. Learn my personality, sense of humor, sentence structure, favorite words, words I avoid, values, beliefs, audience, communication style, and brand voice. Ask follow-up questions whenever needed. Once you've gathered enough information, create a detailed writing style guide you will use for every future piece of content we create together. Don't generate the style guide until you've finished interviewing me. 💬 Your challenge: Run this prompt today. When you're finished, come back and tell us one thing AI learned about your voice that surprised you. I'll go first!

I did it, and I’m so glad I did! What surprised me most is that even though ChatGPT and I have been working together for months, it still asked me more than 50 questions to really zero in on how I communicate. The questions went far beyond “Do you like formal or casual writing?” It asked about how I use humor, how I handle disagreement, how emotional I’m comfortable being, how I tell stories, when I use strong opinions, how I speak differently in business versus personal conversations, and even things like exclamation points, parenthetical asides, British wording, nostalgia, and how I want my expertise to come across. What I loved most was that the process didn’t just teach ChatGPT how I speak. It helped me see how I speak. By the end, I could clearly recognize patterns I’d never really stopped to think about before. I’m warm and conversational, I use dry British humor and storytelling, I tend to lead with emotion before practical details, I prefer quiet confidence over big sales language, and apparently I have a very complicated relationship with exclamation points. 😂 Then it created a detailed writing style guide for me. One line summed it up as: “Warm, quietly confident, enthusiastic and personal writing with a touch of British wit, genuine storytelling, thoughtful expertise, and absolutely no corporate starch.” And I read that and thought, yes. That’s me. It even created what it called “The Michelle Test” for anything it writes for me going forward: Does this sound like a person talking? Can you tell Michelle is behind it? Is it warm without becoming gushy? Is it confident without becoming boastful? And, ultimately, would Michelle actually say this across a table to someone? Even if you’ve already been using ChatGPT for a long time, I’d still recommend doing this exercise. There were definitely things it learned about my voice that months of working together hadn’t fully uncovered yet. And perhaps more importantly, there were things I learned about my own voice too.
