What's up for the weekend?
First, is it Saturday or Sunday in your part of the world? It's Saturday morning here in Canada, and my weekend is a bit of everything. Mostly it's relaxing with nothing scheduled in the morning. Then dice, dinner, and movie with one of my best friends every Saturday. He loves structure, so it starts with a game of Farkle (like Yahtzee) to kibitz and belly laugh. I love variety and my friend, and go along because it means so much to him. We live in the same building, dated for two years, and so it works for us. Super structured person vs lots of variety ≠ compatibility in my world. Is it just me? Vote and then share so we can get to know you better.

@Pamela Lynch I have had a quality day today! I hung out with my aunt, as she normally comes to visit me here at Birmingham Green nursing home in Manassas, VA. We went to Starbucks, where I got myself a Strawberry Frappuccino with no whipped cream. Afterwards, we went to Walmart, where she got some Ensure bottles and the Koljack tv series, whereas I got Jack Ryan: The Complete Series, toothpaste, and Honey Maid crackers with Honey. Later on, I got to watch some episodes of The Rookie, tv series on Hulu.

@Elizabeth O'Carroll I love his poem! That was stupendous, epic even. Thanks so much for sharing it with us and myself! I had no idea who he was and that he was a Professor.. Very cool!
Can you tell me who you are!
Hey guys, I'd love to get to know everybody in the space! Let me know in the chat where you're from and what kind of book you're working on right now. Whether that's reading or writing I'd love to know. 💛

Hi Mr. Bansbach! My name is Michael Teferi, I am a Poet, Writer, Positive Psychology Coach, and Debut Poetry Book Author. I reside in Manassas, VA, and I have been here since my aunt brought me here last Summer 2024. Currently, I am writing poetry multiple times a week towards my third poetry collection called”Phenomenal”, and it’s a part of a trilogy that will become my third poetry book. Lately, I have also been reading a new book called “The Other Side of Change” by cognitive scientist, Mrs. Maya Shankar. It’s such a fantastic read, and I am early on Chapter 1 at this juncture.

Why Every Creative Community Benefits from Having a Website
Many writers, authors, and conscious creators build beautiful communities, but a dedicated website can turn that creative space into a lasting home for your work and message. A website can help you:• Share your deeper story and creative vision in one place• Present your books, offerings, or sessions professionally• Give new people a clear path to discover your work• Build long-term trust beyond social platforms• Create a central space that supports your community’s growth Your community is where connection happens but your website is where your message becomes something people can always return to. I’ve been exploring how intentional websites can support creators and community leaders in expressing their work more clearly and reaching the right people. If you're building something meaningful and want your online presence to reflect that, feel free to connect with me always happy to share ideas and learn about what you're creating.

@Pamela Lynch Thank you so much, Pamela! I am thankful and grateful to you for having this wonderful community here at Skool. I saw your email, and after I read it fully, I immediately responded in kind. I was happy to check out your website, and I love that you supported and approved my membership. I finished my debut poetry books starting called “Transformation” already. Please check it out, let me know your thoughts and opinions about it with me. I have even finished my second poetry collection called “Connection”. That will be my second poetry book. What comes next will be my trilogy being my third poetry collection and third potential poetry book called “Phenomenal”.

@Pamela Lynch Thanks ever so much! I definitely did my due diligence with the font for my poems. I love that you’re into my poetry titles. Much appreciated! Guess what? I created an account on Reedsy, and contacted a number of working professionals such as editors, marketers, and publicists who are available for hire, so I am just waiting to hear back from them as to find out in case any of them are interested in working with me. I also emailed Barnes & Noble about the opportunity to get my debut poetry book called “Transformation” onto bn.com, and to see about getting it placed at Barnes & Noble bookstore at their Manassas, VA location.
