Many people believe a writing community is exclusively for books or creative content. But sometimes it's an opportunity for you to get your least favourite task done with ease. What matters is that you achieve something that moves the needle in your business. Sacred Writing Sessions open a Portal to write, and sometimes that means writing emails and bringing in the money. This message from Tara LeDuc is a powerful illustration of that. "I just finished my first Sacred Writing Session with Pamela Lynch. I had imagined I could take advantage of these sessions for writing a book, for writing to my email list, blogs, event planning. I know that all of these WILL be great. But here is what I actually needed to do: I wrote a contract. "This is one of those tasks I avoid, as I find it stressful, nit-picky, and generally unpleasant. And yet, I just wrote and sent a contract to a new client, AND it has already been signed and returned. Honestly, this is a task that usually brings up so much internal drama and resistance for me. I cannot believe that I just sat and did it, without any fretting, worry, procrastinating, or even wine (lol!). I love how everyone came together for the Community Signature Battle. My original video showcased @Ryan Clark @Vicki Dunn and @Rebecca B with my deepest gratitude. I was so excited, but as I was about to upload it, I read the Rules again and saw "no commercial music allowed." Since I didn't want @Zor Zen Den slapping me with a red ticket, a do-over was the wisest option. When I pulled all the yellow ticket misdemeanors, I invited @Heather Rovet to participate and revised this original video to include Heather's because I was no longer limited to 60 seconds. Instead of asking yourself what should I write, try asking a different question: What is already here, waiting to be written? ✍️ Words cannot flow when we try to force them. These are two opposing energies. Pause for a moment. Take three breaths in and out and bring your attention to your heart. This calms your nervous system and connects you with your creative energy. I invite you to try this the next time you sit down to create a message. I'd love to know if this helps your writing to flow easier.
