Hello! My name is Mitchell. I am from the United States and have interest in landing my first role in tech within the next ~6 months. Even though I graduated with a CSE degree nearly 2 years ago, I thought that my path was away from technology and I explored entrepreneurship with an events business producing private retreats and public concerts. Through those experiences, my knowledge and skill gaps were exposed to me and I realized I need more experience working with others and developing the technical skills to support my long term vision in life. My background is in building web applications with React and NodeJS, but I want to expand my knowledge to Devops and Cloud both to access what feels like a stronger career path (given the AI shakeup) and to empower my own ability to deploy and scale web and mobile businesses without relying on external service providers for the necessary infrastructure. My goal is to get certifications and get hired and will commit to that through learning from the community. Looking forward to learning with you all!
