This is great! Being intentional with your upsells is everything. You sell them something they don’t need, they’ll think you’re just trying to make some extra money. Sell them something they do need, and you’re looking out for their best interest.
Christmas light subscriptions
Thinking about offering Christmas light subscriptions to our customers. We have one customer doing this now because he said he would rather do it this way. I’m thinking of calling around and offering it to the majority of our clients. The fact that we could potentially unlock a few thousand dollars throughout this year sounds great. Obviously there are pros and cons to this I know but curious to see what your thoughts are. If they need some incentive I’ll throw in a 10% discount to it which we were going to do anyway to get these customers to install in October if they wanted to wait till November. Curious to hear some of your thoughts.

I think it's a great idea if the subscription starts now and is paid in full before you ever start their project. A subscription would only be a bad idea if they don't fully pay before the project is completed. The approach I've seen work best is when doing take downs, mention that most of your clients opt in for a subscription plan which is 10% of the amount over the next 10 months. (Most of your clients implies this is the popular option, and people like to stick to the popular option). And then follow that by saying they also have the option of paying half by a certain date like August 31st and half after install, or they could just outright pay in full now to get it out of the way. You could also just do 8.33% every month 12 months out of the year, if you want to keep it a non-stop subscription.

Question About Creative Testing
Hey everyone! I’m a painter and I’m about to launch around 9 different creatives using the PDA framework. I’m planning to run them under one campaign and one ad set. In the past, though, I’ve noticed that Facebook tends to push almost all the spend into just one ad, even when I’m testing multiple variations. My question is: If this happens again, what’s the best way to handle it?how do you approach creative testing when Facebook spends heavily on one ad and doesn’t give the others a fair chance?

This typically happens, Facebook wants to spend most of the budget on what they think will perform best. This is fine, if you spend enough money to dictate if the ad is performing well or not and its doing poorly, then just shut it off then the budget will start getting allocated to other ads, then repeat the process until you have only winners turned on.

@Jean Felix if it’s eating up a lot of the budget but performing well, let it keep eating up the budget. Hitting your KPI targets is all that matters; and eventually it will get ad fatigue at which point you turn it off, and have your next ads ready to test.
