Peek Takeaways
I was slightly concerned that that this was going to be a low ROI networking event. But I was also determined to get the most out of it. I will go again to keep the momentum, however, at each time to a higher level. The best advise to anyone attending these types of events be Genuine, be Vulnerable, and keep to your authentic self don't bend to any other conversation, any other environment, or get sucked into drama. This served me well, although not perfect, let's face it we all run on adrenaline for the last day for sure.
Preparation Wins Ball Games
Most people show up to conferences hoping "something happens." The ones who win show up with a plan to make something happen. Whether you’re a seasoned operator or a new multifamily syndicator, the real work happens before you even step off the plane. To help you dominate the week, use this cheat sheet. The Game Plan: - 🔥 Pre-Conference: Tighten your "1-sentence story" and pick 5–10 must-connect people. - ⚡ Execution Mode: Lead with curiosity. Ask, "What are you focused on right now?" and listen more than you talk. - 💼 The Fortune is in the Follow-Up: Don't let those business cards gather dust. Book the follow-up call on the spot. Remember: You aren't "new"—you’re early-stage and building. One deep, authentic relationship is worth more than 50 surface-level LinkedIn connections. Check out the infographic checklist! 👇 Enjoy time in the desert! 🏜️ Who are you most excited to connect with this week? Drop a comment below!

Mostly Networking. A little of being networked, but I have been mastering what i call the art of a polite breakup. As I call it. When I realize that who I am talking to is only interested in getting, I make a soft exit to the conversation. Thank you for this post. guys.
Goals
What you seek you shall find. Came to peak with a plan. in the process of writing down my plan i was thinking hard about what i wanted to accomplish and settled on 1 major goal. and a would be nice to find. Day 1 All goals accomplished so now what to do with the other 2 Days here. Well you guessed it. I will spend breakfast searching my brain for new goals. Oh side note. I even accomplished a goal I did not write down but thought of. TTFN
Certainty is a real currency
The syndicator who leads the room doesn't always have the most experience. They have the most CERTAINTY. I mean knowing your deal so well you can feel it. Knowing your WHY so clearly you can see it. Knowing the problem you solve for investors so precisely you can speak it without flinching. When you carry that kind of certainty, investors feel it before you say a word. It's in how you walk in. How you begin the conversation. The silence you're comfortable sitting in. Investors smell uncertainty from a mile away. But certainty? Certainty is contagious. As new syndicators commit to their message — as they rehearse it, refine it, and own it — the investor conversations that used to feel like climbing a wall begin to feel like a natural exchange. Not because the market changed. Because THEY changed. And the same shift is available to you — right now — if you're willing to do the work. 💬 What's one thing you feel truly certain about in your syndication journey today? Write it in the comments. Certainty grows when you say it out loud.

That I am tired. LOL but in reality I work best when I am tired. When I can shut down my brain from overthinking I show up my best authentic self. I can see clearly my why, but not a why for me its for others. For Nancy to be job optional at the end of the year. To start clicking away at my goal to help 1000 Families buy their first home.
