Day 34/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
Today is Day 34, and we’re continuing with another storytelling challenge! Today, we’re going to watch a story called β€œBelieve in Yourself.” Please make sure you watch my video as an example and take a look at the lesson script for some ideas and new vocabulary you can use. Your challenge is simple: 1. Watch the video: https://youtu.be/FaoevMkMu1M?feature=shared 2. Understand the story. 3. Retell the story using your own words. Remember: you don’t need to memorize the story or repeat every single detail. The goal is to take what you understood and put it into your own words. That’s how you build real speaking confidence! πŸ—£οΈ πŸ’¬ Need a little more support? If storytelling is new to you and you’d like some extra guidance, tomorrow @Joe Musgrave will be holding a conversation session focused on storytelling! Make sure you don’t miss it and add it to your calendar! πŸ•— 8 PM Brazil time πŸ•“ 4 PM Las Vegas time I hope to see you all there! And now… I can’t wait to see your videos! πŸŽ₯❀️ Keep going. Keep speaking. Keep believing in yourself!

Day 33/56 Your First 56 Days Challenge πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
Day 33 is here! Welcome to another storytelling challenge! Today, we’re watching β€œThe Hardworking Mother.” Make sure to check out the script and watch the video carefully. And remember: don’t overthink it! Just watch the story and retell it in your own words. You can watch the video here: https://youtu.be/drCMd7Jr2Sg?is=DClPXVYwH7Hfki0e You don’t have to remember every detail or use perfect English. Just tell the story the best way you can. I’m absolutely loving seeing your progress and watching you step outside your comfort zone with these activities. That’s exactly how we learn to speak English: we practice, we make mistakes, and we keep going! Let’s do this! πŸ—£οΈβ›“οΈβ€πŸ’₯ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Day 15/56 Your First 56 Days Challenge πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
You made it to Day 15! That means we’re already 26.8% through the challenge! I’m SO proud of every single one of you for showing up every day, practicing your English, and putting yourselves out there. And honestly? I can see the improvement! Everyone who has been here since Day 1 is getting more comfortable speaking, expressing themselves, and using English. And that makes me even more excited to see how far you will have come by Day 56! πŸ—£οΈ Today, we’re starting to talk a little bit about preferences. And today’s question is a simple one… Coffee or tea? Although… for me, this one is actually a little difficult. πŸ˜‚ You’ll understand why when you watch my video! Here are some expressions you can use today: β˜•οΈ I prefer coffee to tea. I’d rather have tea than coffee. I’m more of a coffee person. I tend to go for tea. It really depends on the situation. I have a soft spot for coffee. I’m not particularly fond of tea. πŸŽ₯ Your challenge: Tell us which one you prefer and why! And don’t forget to add Saturday’s class to your calendar. We’ll be focusing a lot on common mistakes Brazilians make and it’s the perfect way to finish the week strong! See you tomorrow for day 16! Mackenzie

Good morning everyone! We’re continuing talking about our preferences Today’s challenge is simple: What do you prefer: big cities or small towns? πŸŽ₯ Your challenge: Record a short video talking about your preference. You can talk about: - Where you would rather live - What you like about big cities or small towns - What you don’t like - Why you prefer one over the other Don’t forget to start your video with: β€œHi, my name is ____, and I’m giving myself 56 days to speak English more confidently. Today is Day 16, and my challenge is to talk about my preference when it comes to big cities and small towns.” For those of you showing up every single day: CONGRATULATIONS! You’re doing something that actually takes consistency and courage. Keep going! πŸ“… DON’T FORGET ABOUT TOMORROW’S LIVE SESSION! Add it to your calendar so you don’t miss it. We will start at 12pm (Brasilia time) Tomorrow, we’ll be talking about common mistakes Brazilians make in English, so it’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn something new, and wrap up the week by improving your English together! See you there!

Day 12/56 Your First 56 Days Challenge πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
We’re officially starting Week 3 of our 56-day challenge, and I just want to say: I’m so proud of you for sticking with it! I hope you had a relaxing week, got some rest, and had a chance to recharge. But now… it’s time to get back to work! πŸ’ͺ And before we jump into today’s challenge, I want to say thank you to everyone who joined us for our live session this Saturday! We had a great time learning about American traditions and customs, and I loved seeing you guys participating and sharing your experiences. And by the way, if you want to watch all the classes from that module, they’re already open! Just go to Classroom and look for the module called β€œThe American Way of Living.” πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ I also want to give a shout out to our new students who will be joining our 56 Days Challenge this week @Carlos Melo Jr @Luciano Paes @KauΓ£ Dutra and @Katia Groth Now, let’s talk about today’s challenge! 🎯 DAY 12/56 Today’s challenge is to talk about the most difficult word to pronounce in English in your opinion. Your Challenge: Record a 60–90 second video. Make sure you start your video with: β€œHi, my name is [your name], and I’m giving myself 56 days to speak English more confidently. Today is Day 12, and my challenge is to talk about the most difficult word to pronounce in English.” Then, continue by answering these questions: 1. What is the most difficult word for you to pronounce? 2. Why do you find this word difficult? 3. Can you pronounce it better now, or do you still struggle with it? 4. What part is challenging for you β€” the sounds, stress, intonation, or syllables? 5. What are you doing to improve your pronunciation? Let’s keep showing up, keep practicing, and keep pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zones. I’ll see you in the comments! Mackenzie
