Bake sales, foot pics, whipping people (or being whipped)... anything goes... And if you have never made money in *unconventional* ways, that's cool... take this opportunity to come up with some ideas! (Why? I dunno... it's fun...) Make a list of things you could do... list-making is the epitome of creativity, not talked about enough... Mine: - The beginning was good old tutoring my neighbor's kid back in middle and high school - I ran a print magazine in college for film photography. Sold each issue for $13... which was $1 over the cost of the printing and shipping... it was never gonna pan out. - I once taught people how to do hand-lettering (I have no idea why people were paying me because man I sucked!) - I've made websites for people - I took photos for artists' and actors' "portfolios" - One artist couple hired me to design their yearly TriBeca artwalk booklet (24 pages, $1,350... covered that month's rent last minute... whew... NYC rent is no joke, even way back when). - A chick in NYC paid me $5 to take her photo with my Polaroid... 👇
