How do you get paid for doing author visits at schools?
Hi! I am in the process of starting to do author visits at elementary schools. I will be asking the admin to send out a preorder form for my book. But I was wondering how do you transition into getting paid for author visits? I will be working on a quality and interactive presentation. My children's books are about emotional healing, emotional parenting and even the inner child so I have a lot I would like to talk about. I am also very open to speaking to both students and their parents. One school said they are interested in doing an assembly for parents and students right after school.
How long should you space out your books?
I have 3 children's books that I am done with on emotional wellness. Plus a book primarily for adult readers. I published the first one, a month ago. I have a decent amount of reviews through bookreverb and I also have book events at four different barnes and nobles coming up. Also, I am working with local schools on doing book events there. It's going well but it takes time to set things up. My question is how do I know when I should publish the next book? Because I was told it will hurt the algorithim if you publish the next book too early if your other book is not getting regular sales.
Need help with delivery window being two weeks
Hello! I decided to print through ingramsparks due to their higher quality. I write children's books illustrated by my son so detail and quality are important to me. Unfortunatley shipping time is 10-14 days long. Does anyone know how I can work around this? Do I bulk order and ship them myself or is there an other option? Or do I just sacrifice some quality of printing by printing through KDP? Thanks in advance!

@Julie Broad It's for my ship to fulfill Amazon order.
It takes two weeks for my book to be delivered because I go through Ingramsparks
The reason why I chose to do this for my children's book is because the quality was a lot better through ingramsparks. I write children's books and my six year old son illustrates my books so the detail and qulaity matters. Is there some kind of workaround I can do? Do I order in bulk and ship them out myself? (But I don't want to give out my home address or have to go to post office for each order) Do I just sacrifice quality when people order through Amazon? What are my best options? The long delivery time is hinding my launch. Thanks in advance!
