Wonderful new year to everyone!! On a A1 canvas I try to combine two photos and is 95% finish but would like some helpful tips 🌺

Ive always said i dont paint animals or people (except distant sheep, basically clouds with legs lol) but I was chatting to a very talented artist friend who paints pet portraits and she challenged me on painting animals...so here is 2 of my recent paintings. I have to admit the mouse drove me nuts it was on and off that canvas about 10 times.
