Calling all Spiritual Rebels
Hey there, friends. I HAVE RETURNED. 🐵 I'll be re-aliving the spiritual rebels community and be bringing more people here shortly. I'll be adding exclusive content and live calls soon for those who want to be in the inner circle 😉 That being said, I'll need some admins to help keep the community clean and get rid of the bots and occasionally low-quality content. Also to accept new members into the community. I had some of you as admins before, so if you'd like to be considered, comment below. The more active you are, the more likely I will be to accept you. Also, i'd encourage you to share some topics you'd be interested in hearing more about 🙏

Yay! I need more Rey in my life. I haven't been active but I need to be!!
I feel stuck
Long story short, I've struggled with depression all my life and started getting out recently. I've been eating self-help, philosophical, esoteric, spiritual, you name it, stuff for something like 5 years. Even though as stated above it gets better, it is so painfully slow, I hate it. Today I quite felt good, had the home for myself... and didn't do shit. So in the end I just went back buying a bottle and I'm drinking again behind my computer. Sorry for that, I guess I just needed to get it out of me. I know, see, it gets better. I should make it with time. But why does it have to be so slow? God or something could just tell me what my purpose in life is and I could just get started at once. I really feel like I'm wasting time I should be spending making the world a better place. I feel sad and frustrated.

I have been there done that. Still working on overcoming it but a huge help in my understanding the "why" i was stuck when I was saturating myself in positivity came when I watched a video from Aimee Semas-Day. We have to heal the trauma that is the root of the depression. We get pulled into that reptilian brain (fight/flight/freeze) and we can live there, which keeps us from our rational thinking, logic, creativity, problem solving, etc. https://youtu.be/BZ0dubRowXg?si=sfAjJj0A3_HfXRPY
🌱 Curious What Cups You All Drink From
Lately I’ve been deepening my practice and learning a ton from Rey as I felt naturally drawn to his teachings and aura. Yet his cup isn’t the only one I drink from. I love exploring different angles, teachings, and perspectives… especially the ones that hit me in the soul at the right moment. One resource I use a lot is https://lonerwolf.com. I’ll also bounce ideas off ChatGPT to get more clarity, reflections, or deeper interpretations when something sparks. I’d love to hear from you all on what teachers, books, channels, practices, or frameworks have helped you the most on your path? Anything you’ve revisited again and again because it works? Feel free to drop whatever’s been meaningful for you — someone else here might need exactly that puzzle piece today. 🙏✨

I have found different inspiration along my spiritual journey. I feel like I am still at the very beginning of my journey and I am pulling what resonates with me from each source. He are my favorites: Wayne Dyer The Divine Voice Box Sleepy Monk I Am Rey (of course) I may not agree with every single thing, but it allows me to figure out what and/or who my authentic self is and what my beliefs are now and what I want to change.
Strange thing that happened yesterday
Like everyone here, I'm trying to better myself. With the idea to take care of my body I started doing some push ups. Nothing fancy, regular, like I always did. Around 15, I felt a big pain in my back. Almost impossible to move. At the same time I was setting up a work I had been procrastinating for some time, and I had planned to take care of other errands. My back getting stuck through out of the window all my planing, I went swimming to try and fix it, and then tried to survive the rest of the day, waiting for the pain to go away. What I don't understand is the following: I was doing good work Had the intention to do more Was doing push ups to take care of my body And it's almost like the universe punished me for it. I know everything I said might sound a bit silly and that I'm supposed to use this experience to create my own meaning, make it usefull to me. But I'm sure there are others who have also felt this frustration of feeling like you got punished for doing what's right. Wanted to know what you think about it.

Hi Alex, I totally feel the same way. I hurt my back a few years ago and recently started trying to improve my physical health due to my lack of activity due to the pain. I finally got into PT and that caused my sciatica to act up. Now my feet, calves and gluten go numb when I stand or walk. I know I have to keep moving but the more I do the more my body is rejecting it. Of course, I haven't addressed my diet like I should and maybe thats where I need to start??? Right now my capsulitis in my foot is acting up as well and is really making everything feel like an impossible task. I have a lot of animals I care for and my chores feel like the hardest thing ever. I feel like I am being punished at times but I try to keep my thoughts more positive to keep my frequency from dropping too low. I dont want to be a victim but also...come on! What else is going to break on my body?!? 😆
