What’s the meaning of your name?
hey my loves 🤍 I wanna do something a little fun but also… lowkey deep. last week at my church Bible study we started talking about the meanings of our names, and it really stayed with me. my name is Jasleen, and it has Punjabi and Sanskrit roots. my mom is Puerto Rican, English was her second language in 1995, and when she named me… she had no idea what it meant. but years later, I’m practicing yoga, learning Sanskrit, hearing my own name spoken in that language… and realizing my name means: “one who is absorbed in the praises of One God” “a soul immersed in worship” “she who lives in devotion and praise” and what’s wild is that it comes from a culture with thousands of gods… and here I am today , saved, worshipping the One true God. like… the Lord really writes stories deeper than we even understand at the time. and we see this all throughout scripture God uses names, changes names, calls people into identity through their names. so now I’m curious about you 🤍 what’s your first name? what does it mean if you know and how do you see that connecting if at all to your life, your story, or your relationship with God no pressure if you don’t know the meaning yet… you can even look it up and come back 👀 I just feel like there’s something beautiful in seeing how intentional God is… even in things we didn’t choose. can’t wait to read these 🕊️✨

This is fun , 🤍 so my name is Me’Shell . My parents named me that because my dad’s name is Michael, & he gave my older sister the middle name Michelle, but my mother didn’t want the basic spelling of it. Especially because I already have an older cousin named Michelle. So now here today with this activity, while I always knew my name had a modern French spelling to it . I learned that the French feminine name Michelle, originates from the Hebrew name Michael which means “who is like God?” And is sometimes associated with a “gift from God” interpretation, often linked to the archangel Michael .

@Ivlyn Valdes I’ll be honest , I have a fond relationship with both my parents . I do appreciate your posing questions to ponder on . In reality , I do not feel as though I will never be seen as a tender soul, I do not believe sex is a tool for me to feel nether seen or heard . I believe quite the opposite actually. Outside of just in all truth my enjoyment of the act itself. I’ve come to learn that with anyone I have been with romantically involved with or intimate with has either appreciated me or understood me but never both. In short I believe people have come into my life for the “idea” of me, the idea of what I represent …What they see on the surface, but in truth once things become deeper and they’re provided a deeper look into my life I am more domesticated than they would have assumed initially. I’m a transparent person ,I’ve experienced a great loss that which I would hate to say was the worst and best thing to ever happen to me . It changed me . I actively and intentionally work on not residing in my ego, for which I am vulnerable with myself , my feelings and intentions. That’s who I am , very forthcoming . I believe most men I’ve crossed paths with have an appreciation of me but never a true understanding of me in that regard . They don’t really get me , and those who do understand and do get me . Simply do not know how to nurture it , don’t know how to foster it and ensure it’s (me) is taking care of and loved properly because they just don’t appreciate it.

📖 Book Club Check-In
Ladies, I’m posting a few pictures of some highlights that stood out to me while reading The Significance of a Woman. Some of these lines really stirred something in my spirit and gave me a lot to sit with and pray through. If you’ve been reading, feel free to drop any highlights, notes, or thoughts that stood out to you in the comments. I love seeing what the Lord highlights for each of us because sometimes someone else’s reflection opens up a whole new layer of understanding. Also, if you’re planning to join our book club discussion, comment below so I know who to expect. That way if we’re missing someone we can wait a few minutes, or even make a note if there’s something we want to come back to for someone who’s joining. Excited to sit with this together and hear what God is stirring in everyone. 💛📖

If You Need Space, That’s Okay
I just want to pause for a moment and say something that might be important for some of you to hear. Over ALMOST 2 weeks, we’ve uncovered a lot together. We’ve gone deep. We’ve studied the Word. We’ve meditated. We’ve stirred up things in our souls while also walking through our own wilderness seasons in real life. That is not light work. Sometimes when the Lord begins doing deeper work in us, there comes a point where we need space to process it all. Time to sit with it. Time to rest. Time to let what God is doing settle into our hearts. So if you find yourself just reading posts and liking things… If you’re a little quieter lately… If you’re not as outwardly “on fire” because you feel like you need more rest or more time to process… That’s okay. There is no expectation here to perform, overperform, or show up in a certain way. You are welcome to come exactly as you are. Even if all you’re doing right now is quietly sitting in the space… letting your spirit be fed… listening more than participating… that is still a powerful way of showing up. That is you meeting yourself where you are. That is you honoring your capacity. Sometimes being in the fire doesn’t look loud. Sometimes it looks like sitting beside it quietly. And I want to honor that. If you need space, even space from the group for a little while, that is okay too. My role here is simply to keep tending the fire and building consistency so that whenever you are ready to come closer again, the space is still here. No pressure. No performance. Just women walking with the Lord through the wilderness together, each at our own pace. 🤍

Write 3 things your grateful for this morning.
1. This group of ladies who are so on fire for the Lord despite how challenging it may be to live out these wilderness stages. 2. I’m grateful to be awake right now and laying in my king sized bed (I paid $200 for this beauty lol) 3. Im grateful for the fact that my kids are still sleeping and that they slept through the night. 🫶🏼
