Day 16
Today I worked on playing modes left and right/up and down. I made up this little pattern that goes 172 435 761 324 651 (each number is the first 6 notes of the corresponding mode). The goal is expansion of the major scale :D

Dowland under the microscope today (and yesterday). Been busy with school so haven’t had time to post but with school in session practice is always happening haha.

I love the authentic focus and struggle to play the unnamable chords. I feel that deep. Also do you read all of this in standard notation? If so is that something you learned in college?

Back to it..
Been under the weather & shedding some remaining things & gaining beautiful new awarenesses… but I did practice yesterday and today. I’m singing & playing my guitar to some mantras.. “Om Shanti Om & Satyam Shivam Sundarum” in hopes to embody this new version of me who’s ready to come fully & enthusiastically to life!! 🙏🏻😌

Day 14
I didn’t post for the challenge yesterday but I practiced 20 minutes of blueberry, just getting slow reps in + some scale work with students. Today I took it easy on practice and worked on different rhythms on my djembe :)
