How do you write?
No judgement, we’ve all got our systems I’m sure. What’s your word processor of choice?

I'm not familiar with Scrivener. I'll have to check it out.

@Jessica Wagner that’s a good idea I hadn’t thought of before!
Tools of the trade.
What are some tools you use for your writing?

I have a three ring binder that includes story notes and a calendar of events as they happen throughout the larger story arc as well as an itemized list of those events with relevant details like characters involved and location data, dialogue notes and cues, etc. I also have several file folders with one dedicated to one of the following: characters and other detailed descriptions, voice, backstory, and traits, locations with the same data, deities with associated descriptions, magic threads they can gift to characters, and their holiday if they have any. I printed out a 4x8 map of my world that I pieced together with copy paper. It now hangs on the wall above my desk for reference. I like hand written notes that I write in or on any of the documents I listed which helps me track all the layers of my story. I write exclusively in MSWord and have the formatting set to mesh seamlessly with Kindle. I’m still trying to figure out Ingram Spark. But I’ll get there.

@Timothy Colomba That could be very educational!
Quick Intro!
Thought I'd introduce myself, very informally. Looking forward to talking more!

I like the idea of a paid subscription option to protect against scammers and spam. What would the services/benefits be to the paid version? Also, I feel like you and I think along similar veins. I love what you’re doing and I’m so glad I joined your channel!
Welcome to the Writer Therapy
Glad you’re here. I’m Tim. This isn’t a course. I’m not a therapist, and I don’t have insider tips or expert advice. I’m a writer who loves the craft and takes the work seriously. Whether you’re published, querying, just getting started, or sitting on that gnawing idea, you’re welcome here. We’ll get into the “why” behind this space later. For now, let’s get to know you. Jump into the discussions below to get started and meet our community. And remember, this is therapy right? No pressure to answer everything. Just step into our office and get comfy. One ask: You don’t have to share about yourself, but try to engage with someone else. That’s how this becomes a real community. Thanks for being here. I can't wait!

@Dustin Naylor wow! You're really good at this. Your voice is clear and strong even when you're doing one of the accents. That's awesome!

I like the simple things in life. Walks on the beach, smooth jazz, and plotting the course of a massive fantasy world in my head. Easy Peezy!
