Double layered socks
Curious if anybody does this? I just kinda have always done it and never knew if that was the norm lol. 😅

I've only ever worn thick, tall socks when I'm breaking in a new pair of skates. And I definitely didn't double up. I wanted my skates to mold to my feet well. I still wear thin socks that are ankle high, but that's about it. Lol that's just me though. I'm also pretty curious at what everyone else does

Just me complaining
My local rink took away their adult skate night. I relied on that night, it was my weekly rink fix. Now I'm just sad about it. 😩

@Kamaria Harvey I might. Blue Springs is an hour drive for me though, so I would have to make a day trip out of it 😁

@J L You should suggest it to them sometime and see what they say. Never hurts to ask for a kid free skate session 😁

Nothing important
I don’t know if anyone else here has pets… But the looks on my dogs’ faces as I rolled through the house for the first time… Priceless! The look I got was somewhere in between alarm and judgment 🤣 How about y’all? Can you skate around your pets? Do they want to fight the skates? Do they try to trip you? 🛼🐶

Would love to hear from anyone who has attended RollerCon previously, especially if you're into rhythm skating. Was it fun? Helpful? Worth the expense?

@Jay Griffin Totally get it. I've been to many states, including California. I've been to Minnesota and Michigan, so I know Kansas and Ohio are not as cold as up north. Lol but yea my family from Texas will always complain about the cold up here because they don't live in it anymore 😆

Been skating off and on since I was little. I'm at the rink weekly, and skate outdoors on occasion. Always wanted to be a part of a skate community!
