@Cal F. , AT means “Assortment” so it is something normally packaged as an assortment from that manufacturer. Once you source the item it will be sold that way. Hope this helps!
I received this email for a bid that I submitted. No one has been awarded because we failed the automation system; my guess is that my price is too high. Has anyone else received this? Did you been revising your price or sticking to it? I refuse to pack over 1,300 items for chump change since I have to cover my packing supplies as well.
@Keshawn Williams it took me 3 days to get unlocked this morning after answering the validation questions. I sent a zipped file that included my capability statement, my Reps & Certs from SAM, the Driver Licenses of all the people under my LLC, secretary of state info and I let them know that I work with distributors of approved manufacturers as I am not a manufacturer myself. Hope this is helpful to anyone needing to answer those questions! 🌺Aloha
Hello Hustlers!! Hope everyone is doing well! I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone else has been through the DIBBS Business Validation process. I’m not a manufacturer, but operate out of my home. I don’t remember listing my business as a manufacturer but that’s what DIBBS is seeing in their system and wants to come inspect my manufacturing facility before allowing me to use DIBBS! Any advice?
I just got my DIBBS unlocked this morning after answering all of the questions they asked on Dec 17, so it took 3 days to get unlocked. On the manufacturer question, I just told them I work with approved manufacturers and ship from partner facilities. Hope that helps! 🌺Aloha
Although my price was lower, my past performance, business address which is a residential address, delivery days, etc. played a huge factor in why I lost. For the delivery days, the product is down the street from me but I did longer delivery days to cover myself if anything happens with the supplier.
@Sylvie Kaj Do you mind DMing me and sharing the service you are using for packing and shipping (or any others you have researched to be a viable partner)? I'm researching and setting up before bidding (I'm writing proposals on SAM solicitations, but would love to switch to DIBBS and just bid). I am new to DLA so I'm still getting set up as I want to use a 3PL (3rd party packer) as I'll be going back abroad and want to automate as much as possible (I did all the packing and shipping in my last commercial distro business and don't intend to do it all myself again). I finally got my postcard and registered last week only for DLA to deactivate my account yesterday. They are asking why I am registered as a manufacturer if I have a residential address. This is where I would love to provide a partner packer, but I haven't found a responsive one that understands MIL standards yet. TIA! ~Aloha
