It's been really quiet here lately. I miss the sisterhood we had going during the 5 day challenge. How are you all doing? what have you been working on this month? What is something you could use some encouragement or advice around? For me, I've suddenly been struggling to wake up for Fajr (a few days in the last 2 weeks)- I think a combination of shifting sleep schedules, shorter summer nights, and general tiredness. I pray that I am able to get back on track after my period this week 💗 Bi-ithnillah. Sending you all duas ❤️ May Allah swt protect each and every one of you and ease your tests for you, ameen.

@Amina Ismail I was also struggling with finding hope in the marriage process. Alhamdulilah, it's helped me a lot to take a break from consuming marriage content and worrying about how it will work out. Salawaat has helped calm my heart and also going for walks. I'm learning to be grateful for the delay and enjoy this phase of life. May Allah make it easier for you and grant you the best righteous spouse, Ameen.

I'm in between the flexible partnership and 'I contribute if I choose'. Ideally, I'd like my husband to be the main provider. I also wouldn't mind helping to contribute as long as it's not the majority of the finances. Depending on his finances and the quality of life I'd like to live, I may have to contribute. I don't want the pressure to be a financial provider on top of raising kids and taking care of the home etc.

@Layan B I also find the apps overwhelming. I view it as one way to tie my camel. It is always nice to meet other sisters in a similar life stage.

I have been waiting to fully overcome my fears of picking the wrong spouse due to past trauma before I fully committed to finding my spouse. Starting today, I am no longer waiting for that. My move is to change my mindset to one that fully trusts in Allah's plan and fully believes that I'll find a good match Insha'Allah.
