My top three favorites from the last firing
Thank you so much for all the advice from my last post! These were my top three favorites from the last kiln firing.

Some places hold pieces of our lives 💜
Today was a completely last-minute decision… and somehow turned into one of those days that stays with you 💜 I live in the UK, and like most of us here, I’m very good at moaning about the weather 😅 The rain, the grey skies, the cold… But honestly? I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Today my husband and I decided to take our Rhodesian Ridgeback Kaiser for a walk at Kinver Edge, a beautiful National Trust spot on the Staffordshire/Worcestershire border. My husband grew up there—it was his childhood playground. We got married in Kinver Church nearby, walked those hills when we were courting, later with our two little boys, and with dogs we’ve loved over the years. We then moved away for many years and only came back to the area about five years ago. Even though we now only live around 30 minutes away, somehow we hadn’t been back to Kinver Edge for far too long. The moment we arrived, the memories came flooding back. The bluebells were out, the sunshine was warm (a rare UK miracle 😂), and the views across the English countryside honestly took my breath away. Kinver village sitting amongst the rolling hills looked just as magical as I remembered. For two precious hours, life slowed down. We reminisced about being 18 and falling in love, marrying young, raising our boys, building a life together… and quietly reflected on the fact we both came through cancer after a very challenging couple of years. Last year we celebrated 40 years of marriage. Today just felt… special. Really special. One of those moments where you suddenly feel incredibly grateful for ordinary things that actually aren’t ordinary at all. And to finish the morning, we stumbled across a newly built farm shop café and had the most beautiful breakfast and coffee together 💜 Life can absolutely be challenging. But it’s also full of rewards and beautiful moments—you sometimes just have to pause long enough to notice them. 💜 It made me wonder…Do you have a place that holds special memories for you?

I love this @Jeanette Stevens it’s so special, thank you so much for sharing! 💜💜 My Special place is the New forest in Hampshire, as a child we spent many happy holidays there, and it always brings back wonderful memories. 💕
A favor please??
As I’m sitting here recovering from my hysterectomy and as my husband is saying, interior remodeling: feeling like a truck hit me, I released one of my videos on finding my style. I’d love if you could take the time to hype it all the love. https://youtu.be/rCHKOTKRc08?si=qK6pkMlGrHqUsDAL
Sending hugs for a speedy recovery @Natalie Deters 💕 Im heading into my studio now and as soon as I get settled I will be watching your video, whilst glazing. ❤️
New call time this weekend 🌍
We are shifting things a little so it is easier for our ocean crew to join us this time. The call will now happen between Saturday and Sunday at a new time that should hopefully feel a lot more relaxed for everyone on that side of the world. Have a quick look in your calendar, it should already show the correct time for you wherever you are.📆 Also a small apology for last Friday, I basically did a five minute cameo and disappeared again. This time I am planning to actually stay and hang out 😄 Really looking forward to seeing you all there!

I love that you are doing the calls at different times to Accommodate everyone @Suza Roswandowicz it’s fabulous that there are potters from all over the world here in this group. 🎉 I will probably be fast asleep for the call today, as it’s 11pm - 2am for me, but I will keep an eye on future times, and pop in when I can ❤️

Alright, so we're all enablers. 🤣 I am missing one of the new fantasy glazes, but it can wait...for now. I'm looking forward to trying these! Show me your combos of you've tried them.

Oooh I’ve not seen these before, what make are they? The names are so enticing. 🤣🤣
@Pat Webb Ah ok thanks Pat, that makes sense I don’t think we can get Coyote glazes here in the UK, which is a good thing for my bank balance 🤣
