Welcome to Flow Thyself
Welcome to Flow Thyself This is more than just a community. It’s a space for remembrance. A space for individuals devoted to growth, healing, self-mastery, conscious living, and returning back to their true nature. Flow Thyself was created from my own journey — through yoga, breathwork, meditation, movement, discipline, philosophy, health, spirituality, and learning how to slow down enough to truly listen within. These practices profoundly changed my life, and this space was born from the deep desire to share them with others. In a world constantly pulling us outward, Flow Thyself is an invitation to come back inward. Back to the breath. Back to presence. Back to the body. Back to truth. Back to God. Back to yourself. Inside this community we’ll explore practices, wisdom, conversations, challenges, and experiences that support us mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This is not about perfection. It’s about practice. Daily practice. Showing up. Remembering. Growing together. Expect conversations and content around: Breathwork Yoga & meditation Physical & mental discipline Consciousness & philosophy Health, longevity & vitality Energy, nervous system & healing Ancient wisdom & modern understanding Community, accountability & connection Plant Medicines, Bitcoin, and Sovereignty Whether you are just beginning your journey or have been walking this path for years, you are welcome here. My intention with this space is simple: To help inspire and empower people to live with more awareness, freedom, presence, health, purpose, and love. We rise together. Introduce Thyself to the community!
Hey beautiful souls My name is Max, founder of Flow Thyself. I’m from New Hampshire, and I’m deeply passionate about healing, growth, self-mastery, and helping people reconnect back to their true nature through practices like breathwork, yoga, meditation, movement, and conscious living. A little about me — I’ve been teaching yoga for over 2 years, am Reiki certified, and have been facilitating breathwork ceremonies and experiences for the past few years as well. These practices have profoundly changed my life, helping me cultivate more presence, peace, discipline, gratitude, and connection to God, myself, and others. Something I’m incredibly grateful for is this path itself… and the people along it. Every conversation, every challenge, every ceremony, every moment of growth has shaped me into who I am becoming. I truly believe we are all here to remember who we are beneath the conditioning, noise, stress, and distractions of the world. A few things I value deeply:• Authenticity over perfection• Presence over performance• Discipline with love• Community, connection, and growth• Living in alignment with mind, body, and spirit Flow Thyself is simply a space for like-minded individuals walking the path of healing, awakening, health, freedom, and self-discovery together. A space to share practices, wisdom, experiences, and inspiration that help us become the highest versions of ourselves. Would love to get to know you all more Introduce yourself below: Your name• Where you’re from• Something you’re passionate about• Something you’re grateful for• One practice or habit that’s positively impacted your life lately• What called you into this community So much love. Grateful you’re here

3 Ancient Ayurvedic Practices for optimal health
Ayurveda = ā€œThe Science of Lifeā€ 🌿Ancient wisdom that’s been guiding human health for thousands of years… and still holds true today. These are 3 simple morning practices I use daily to cleanse the body, sharpen the mind, and elevate my energy: — šŸ‘… Tongue scraping (with copper)That coating on your tongue?Bacteria, toxins, buildup from overnight. Scraping removes it so you don’t reabsorb it.Copper is key āš”ļø naturally antimicrobial—helping eliminate bacteria, not just move it around. Results:• Fresher breath• Better taste• Stronger digestion• Clearer internal signals — šŸ‘ƒšŸ¼ Nasya (nose oiling)A few drops of oil in each nostril = game changer. The nose is the gateway to the brain 🧠This practice:• Clears sinuses• Lubricates + protects nasal passages• Reduces dryness (huge in modern life)• Sharpens mental clarity• Enhances breathwork + presence — šŸ„„ Sesame oil pullingSwish 1 tbsp for 5–15 minutes first thing in the morning. This pulls bacteria + toxins out of the mouth… instead of just masking them. Benefits:• Deeper oral cleanse• Healthier gums + teeth• Eliminates bad breath• Supports overall detox āš ļø Spit into the trash or outside (not the sink—it can clog your drain) — Simple rituals. Ancient wisdom. Real results. Take care of your body…it’s the vessel for your energy, your clarity, and your life šŸ•Šļø

3 Ancient Ayurvedic Practices for optimal health
5 minute breathwork & gratitude activation
5 minutes can change your entire state. This is a short Flow Thyself breathwork to help you reset, reconnect, and come back to yourself… anytime, anywhere. When we breathe with intention, we shift our nervous system out of stress and into presence. Pair that with gratitude, and you begin to rewire your mind toward peace, abundance, and clarity. A daily breathwork + gratitude practice can:• Regulate the nervous system• Increase vagal tone + stress resilience• Improve focus and mental clarity• Balance emotions and reduce anxiety• Enhance oxygen delivery + energy levels• Support deeper presence and awareness• Shift your mindset from lack → abundance This isn’t about doing more… it’s about coming back to what’s always been within you. 5 minutes a day.Your breath.Your awareness. That’s where everything begins šŸ•Šļø

CO2 Tolerance & it’s Importance
Most people think oxygen is the most important gas for the body…but carbon dioxide (COā‚‚) is just as essential. COā‚‚ is what helps oxygen actually release into your cells (Bohr effect), regulates blood flow, and plays a massive role in balancing the nervous system. When we build our COā‚‚ tolerance, we experience:• Better oxygen delivery• Greater stress resilience• Increased vagal tone• Improved circulation• More efficient breathing• Greater calmness + focus Low COā‚‚ tolerance can lead to over-breathing, anxiety, fatigue, and an overactive stress response. The good news… we can train this. Simple ways to build COā‚‚ tolerance:• Nose breathing• Slowing the breath• Breath holds One practice I do daily:Gentle nasal breathing → slow exhale → breath hold (with nose plugged).Working toward a 40-second hold is a strong indicator of a resilient nervous system. When you train your breath…you train your ability to stay calm in the chaos. Your breath is always with you.Use it wisely šŸ•Šļø
