So, I'm doing my internship right now. The summer was super slow at my internship site, and I didn't have a good enough number of clients to get what my internship professor would have liked to see in terms of hours. So, she told me to get a second internship site. I lucked out because LinkedIn dropped an appealing opportunity in my lap. I applied, interviewed, and got hired! I have been working on my peer network for support. And I would say I'm doing a decent job, because I have 1 solid offer for after internship and 3 "offers" from practice owners who would love to have me once I finish my internship! I also have a 5th one that is a bit iffy because they kinda said "think about it, but we have very good candidates we're interviewing right now." Regardless of how serious these "offers" are, I am feeling quite good about it!

Knowing what you know now, what is something you would tell yourself after just starting your first counseling job?? For me, I think I would tell my 23 year old self to remember to take care of yourself, your own mental health, and your own peace! What about you?
