Oh the weather outside is frightfull! 🎃
I see folks posting about snow and colder weather. Seasons are changing so we should too. And you know what that means.......... 💥 MINI CHALLENGE! 💥 Here’s the deal: ✅ Tag a person you haven't talked to yet in the comments below. (1 person per comment) ✅ BUT you must start the conversation with just ONE emoji. (No words. Just pure emoji 🌱 energy) ✅ No explanation. No context. Just drop the emoji and see what happens. Your mission: 👉 Keep the conversation alive (with words) and turn it into something valuable. 👉 Maybe it leads to a seed swap, a gardening tip, a deep convo, or absolute chaos. Winner: 🏆 The person who initiated and has the longest conversation wins DEADLINE: 16 NOV @ 11am PST

Update from the pumpkin infestation...
Haha well some of you might remember my post from some time ago with my infestation of pumpkins. Well my father harvested yesterday and made some pictures I would like to share with you guys. I am quite happy and proud of the harvest and well considering we didn't plant any but only threw the remainings of a pumpking that we didn't use in the dirt as a compost well I see this as a huge win😁🥰 thank you God✝️🫶❤️

Biochar
On the Legends call today we discussed biochar and living soil. Here are a few images of different types of biochar and their structure. Different input materials create different structures at a microscopic level. Images Left to Right: Sunflower --- Wood -- Nuts Do you use biochar?

I wanted to make my own biochar. Watched a lot of videos, but it didn't make any sense yet to do it and I also didn't have the necessary materials to do it. Will definitely do it in the future

Pumpkins invaded my Garden👀
Well I managed to get out in the Garden when there was Sun today (usually I get home soooo late it's dark or it rains the whole day). I wanted to share how my Garden Looks like and how Pumpkins are invading everything🤣😅 There is a variety of diffrent Crops in here, I think I even missed some and didn't see them. Which one's do you see? Ahh and why do some grow like round and squary and others long and like a cylinder?

Benefits of bees in the garden?
Hey everyone, I know that bees can help in the garden a lot. Like a loooooot. I was wondering if any of you had some experience on how to get some bees (a manageable amount for a small garden and house without disturbing the neighborhood) into your garden without needing to be a beekeeper and getting the equipment and what not. I mean, I would not disturb them, we qould just both profit from eachother. I once saw a video of someone drilling holes in an Old Log to provide a place for the bees to bee. Does anyone have some experience with this? My goal is not getting Honey, it's improved Yield on Crops. Then obviously, if we also get some honey in the meantime, why not. I don't really want to go buy a suit and all the beekeeping equipment so I though I ask in here as maybe some of you have some experience woth this. I already saw some bees around the garden some times and I see the potential, they were just around the flowers though and not really where the tomatoes and other crops where. So I thought maybe I make them a House, where they can stay in a small setting and I would not go there to disturb them or do anything at all. They would own that house and do whatever they want. Maybe I have a too dreamy expectation of this😅 well you guys surely can answer me somehow and help to get my view and expectation in the correct place/way, so that it is actually something possible. Thanks a lot for any feedback, insights, instructions, knowledge and whatever there is that is shareable 😁🤝😅

@Betsy Moll thanks I didn't know about that. Just googled some stuff and unfortunately there is nothing near me. I found another program, where they just rent you the beehive and give you some honey in exchange, but the bees don't get on your prooerty. The ones that get on your property, either you have to care for yourself or they are too far away and won't come to place them in my garden and care for them. Also here apearently they only bring the hive from april to july

@Carla Giddeons very informative thanks. I think I will probably just build like a pollinator bee house and leave the honey stuff. It's way too much work and cost that I can't find time nor money to do. So I am probably better off just drilling some holes in Wood and make a Solitary bee house or what they are called
