@Devin Trent Ah, got it. Thanks for explaining. Maybe it was the phrasing that confused me a bit. I'm not thinking about sacrifices, I see it as an investment, a purpose, an intention with dedication of time and energy. But in the end it's close just another word we're used to use. The two options you're pointing out are the most obvious ones. Listening to the Holy Spirit fits not really in any of these, so I would add it or even see it as the root.

@Devin Trent Probably yes. 😁 Sorry for the answer, it just came out that honest. Time. We say time moves fast, but it doesn't. It's more consistent than our breathing, and we recognize very quickly once that changes. We try to save time, but you're right, it's the question of "how do I spend my time". Because we can't save time, we just can spend more or less time. I do like coaching, and I'm one too. I do like to help people spending less time with tasks they don't like, which frustrates them or they're simply open to automate. I'm taking advice, but no coaching myself. I'm interacting and exchanging, my focus is heavily on relationships, so yes I do spend more time on that and I grew from 0 to... at least double digit. That's a miracle for me. I'm happy to spend that time - or invest it - because I know what I'll get out of it. Let me make an example, a general one: I decided to listen to the Holy Spirit despite all other reasons. If he tells me, I do. Otherwise I'll decide what I think is best. I wanna learn to listen better and for me it feels that contradicts coaching as I see it, with my values and understanding of investing my time and money.
When was the last time you learned something new?
Their is a high probability you learned that new thing from another person. Even if you did self-study...the study material was produced through another person who: - wrote the book - made the Youtube video - gave the talk from stage or online Nobody knows everything, so we must learn from others. No one can truly say, "I'm self made" Because the truth is we're all community made. If you know that you don't know everything and you're open to learning something new... Then I invite you to The Proactive Parent Path™ It's an 8-week cohort to better prepare kids for the real world. Tap here for all the details.

@Devin Trent I developed a web based racing game that I want to put on my website - our boy is already enjoying it a lot, however I have to fix some technical issues first. Moving to Canada, new country, new culture and new processes comes along with so many topics where we have to figure it out over and over again. With a couple of AI projects going on and lots of ideas what I can do, there are smaller and bigger surprises along the way everyday. It shows me a big contrast how I've grown over the last years. From workplaces where I quit because it felt too much to handle to a lifestyle where I'm embracing it.
