Gemini Omni Leaks
Looks like Google is testing a new Gemini video generation tool called Omni, and it might be a step toward a single model that can handle both images and video. - Omni showing up in Gemini UI text, not just hidden code, so it could be a real product name soon - Screenshot line: “Powered by Omni” inside the video generation tab, which is a pretty loud hint - Today’s setup is split: Veo 3.1 for video, Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro for images - Omni might be a wrapper on top of Veo, a brand new Gemini video model, or the start of a true omni-model that outputs both images and video - If Google unifies image plus video generation, automation workflows get way cleaner, one API, one set of prompts, fewer handoffs - Competitive pressure is real in AI video right now, with ByteDance’s Seedance 2.0 leading some benchmarks - Google I/O 2026 (May 19–20) looks like the most likely stage for an official reveal If Omni ends up being one model for both image and video output, what would you guys automate first, ad creatives, product demos, or short-form content pipelines? It’s gotten so wild. They are all on the verge of playing together too. Do you think google or open claw for agents? I tried Kimi yesterday - it’s not ready for US in my opinion. I am a pretty big got fan especially since it’s later update. It’s image creation is super impressive now.
Nano Banana 2 Is Done. GPT Image 2 FULLY Tested
Nano Banana 2 has been my go-to AI image model for the past several months. Then GPT Image 2 dropped, and I had to see if it could actually compete. So I ran the same 15 prompts through both models at max quality and scored them on prompt adherence, text fidelity, spatial reasoning, style match, and anatomy. Final score: 9-4 in favor of GPT Image 2 (with 2 ties). I built this entire test using Claude Code inside Google Antigravity. Just brain dumped the idea, Claude Code wrote the Python, made the API calls, compiled everything into a 15-slide deck, and even did a first pass at judging (I pushed back on plenty of its calls). Where each model wins: - GPT Image 2 dominates text rendering (5-0), artistic and stylized work, and authentic photo realism that actually looks shot on a phone. - Nano Banana 2 still wins on spatial reasoning and a more polished, glossy photo aesthetic. For me, GPT Image 2 is my new pick for thumbnails, marketing assets, and community content. I'm officially back in the OpenAI ecosystem for image generation.

CLOSE CLIENTS ON FIRST CALL
Ming Xu, CIO of Trillet, used to lose deals by dragging prospects through 3 meetings before even talking about closing. Now he and his team walk into the first call with a tailored AI demo and close on the spot way more often. If you’re selling AI services, this one shift can instantly boost your conversion rate.

🍎 Apple Taps Gemini ✦
I find it fascinating that a company as big as Apple, still has not been able to figure out AI! Apple just confirmed it's teaming up with Google to power the next generation of Siri using custom Gemini models, and it sounds like the partnership goes way beyond just voice commands. The short version is that Apple chose Google's AI as the core tech behind future Apple Intelligence features. A few things jumped out at me: • custom Gemini models powering not just Siri but more Apple Intelligence features across the whole ecosystem • potential for major upgrades on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro, even Apple Watch • Apple still keeping user data private inside its own systems • Google simply providing model and cloud tech while Apple controls the experience • both companies going public with the deal which raises the stakes for performance • signals a trend where even the biggest companies rely on each other for AI acceleration • could push more cross platform pressure and innovation in consumer facing AI I’m curious what you guys think. Does this partnership make you more excited about Apple Intelligence or more skeptical that Apple needs Google at all? If that doesn’t start to blur lines, I don’t know what does. That’s kind of incredible.
