Happy Friday!! I’m curious how everyone is managing their steel buys, or maybe you’re not fully aware that steel just went through two price increases in the past 2 months, and diesel prices are through the roof causing freight to slowly rise (it lags behind oil increases by a little). Most steel factories have even reduced their quote expiration to 5-7 days. And with Amazon planning another build cycle and AI data centers consuming a large portion of structural steel in the US market, and US steel mills shutting down portions of their operation to modernize, the availability of US steel is becoming scarce. As a mezzanine provider, how can I help you throughout a build process to help keep the wheels on the bus? How/what/when can we communicate to keep the project flowing?
