👌Solid week so far
I never really thought I’d use algo trading much myself…but it is nice when this stuff hits when you’re not around to trade. Prop Strat A crushed it yesterday!

End of contracts
I noticed the Nasdaq current contract ends in December and It sparked a question that maybe a more experienced member of the group or coach can answer. As these contracts near the close date does volume increase or fall off drastically? Or is there a rather seamless contract change over? Most likely im over thinking it but no question is a dumb question, well lol you know what i mean!

Volume will start dropping as we get close to the expiration date, not drastically until right before expiration. I would compare volume between the contracts roughly 1 week before expiration. If you wait too long, you can typically start to see lower volume in the candles (i.e. lot's of gaps between them, weird looking candles all over, etc)

@Chris Gilbertson low volume is a time to avoid for sure, whether it’s contract expiration, time of day, certain tickers, etc Outside of contract expiration, low volume is a time where institutions will seek liquidity and you’ll get a lot of fake out moves basically

Is Apex down?
Anyone having issues getting into apex? When I try to log in I get the spinning ring of death. And an get a page that pops up. I didnt get a email from them that they were going to be down. Just generally curious.
