Post what you want -
Yo everyone! As people are joining now, I thought it’d be a good time to put this here. As things grow, this might change, but for now I’m happy to answer any questions you’ve got. Genuinely, ask me anything you want to learn. Nobody knows everything, and before any of us started cycling, we all knew basically nothing about the sport, even after doing it for 5 years I’d still say I used to know very little vs what I do now. So whatever your level—whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been riding for years—ask away. If I can help, I will. 🙌

Hey mate, First off, so cool that you’ve shared your story, and huge well done on everything you’ve pulled off so far. It’s a bit bittersweet to read too, because chasing a cycling career is the one thing I’d do differently if I could rewind 20 years to my late teens and have a proper go. I did some other good stuff instead, but cycling’s been my big passion since childhood and even more so the last few years, so learning from guys like you is genuinely exciting. I’ve even caught myself wondering what if I joined a seriously good club. Then reality grounds me and it feels far fetched. Still, I’d love to see how far I can push my fitness and power given where I’m at now. Here’s my reality: father to a toddler and a management job, so I’m burning it at both ends. The upside is that becoming a dad forced me to cut the BS and focus only on what matters (you either do or you drown). I’ve got 10 to 12 hours a week to work with. How does that stack up for getting into a decent club and building real form? I reckon I need an ambitious goal to aim at, and I’d value your honest read on what’s realistic. On training: I’ve used TrainerRoad for years but I’m tempted to try AI coaching paired with a free platform to run the plans on, like MyWhoosh. Has anyone here done something similar, and how did it go? What’s your take on getting to 4w/kg Charlie and how competitive one becomes? What’s your FTP? To close, you’ve got serious talent. Getting into Polti Kometa, with the wins you stacked up before the stagiaire spell, is no small thing. Chapeau.

@Baxter Oh that’s awesome. 280 is good power! Do you mind sharing your main prompt summary or similar? I’ll be using Claude, I hate ChatGPT :P I think you’re spot on, consistency is key. Well done
