Ruined myself yet again
Well, just blew my other 4 PAs in one day after working hard to get them all above 3k in profits. That's 11 PAs I've Killed, it seems I have no problem passing EAs, and no problem getting PAs above the payout threshold. But somehow, someway I always manage to self sabotage and lose it all picking just the exact wrong days and times to get eaten alive in the whipsaws of consolidation patterns. I know exactly what I'm supposed to do, and what I'm not supposed to do, I can explain in detail how to trade, and how the market works, but when it really counts, I can never stop myself from doing exactly what I'm not supposed to do. I'm calling it a day, taking a hiatus from trading, may return, may not. Ive given away $2000 to Apex at this point with nothing to show for it. Think I'm just gonna stick with my career that pays me 130k a year, and just be content with being an RN, as I see no way that I'm ever going to make more than that as a trader. It's been a fun and informative 6 years in the trading world, but it's not good for me or my mental health, or my finances. Best of luck to you all. I hope you become the trader that you want to be.

I am right there with you I have blown 4 PA's and multiple EA's I think what has helped me is only trading in the zones Kyle trades in I still have a problem looking at my phone and doing trades outside of the supply or demand zones and trading late at night.

@Dylan Coombs not sure if it's a good strategy or not but I switched to a 250K EA and I feel like i'm making way better decisions and I don't get as frustrated when I lose a trade because my trail down is higher I bought it Oct 2 and i'm half way to passing it.
Discipline
I am so mad at myself because I lacked discipline. I read the wrong time to enter and only lost $300 but instead of having a cool mind I tried chasing a win and ended up blowing my PA account. I had it at $53,000 and only received the PA on Wednesday (last week) so a $300 loss would have been fine and I have had plenty of $300 losses since last week but I lost my ability to reason and ended up worse than if I had just accepted the loss.

@Stephen Gerald Onyia I actually have another EA account I just was waiting to fund it when I got my first payout but looks like I will just need to fund it now and learn from my mistake

@Eric Lehman that’s been my struggle anticipating a candle to close and jump the gun only for it to do the exact opposite.
Low volume trading.
I’ve noticed that when I trade during lower volume hours I am way better at reading the market and have had lots of success about 70% but small amounts but when trading during higher volume I am about 50% on average but higher win amounts. I guess I can continue trading during low volume until I get more comfortable at reading also patience is a must have during higher volumes because you see big moves but I didn’t wait for a setup for the entry so I have lost a few trying to rush my entry only to have it do the exact opposite.
When do you have time to trade
Hey guys if you work full time when do you have time to trade,, Or do you Put in pending orders

I had this same concern but honestly it only takes a few minutes to set up a trade and you can do that from your phone. What I do is before I go to work I set my zones and then set alerts when it gets close and execute it from my phone.
