First sale!
Well after 6 weeks and around 200 listing's today brought my first sale! It did however come with a bit of anxiety as it's a framed A1! Yesterday I had an enquiry about the overall size of a framed print because most of my mockups show them with a mount or mat board so even tho it says in my description that the mount is only for illustrative purposes and artwork is mounted directly into the frame, she must've assumed from the photos that it came with the mount. I simply told her otherwise and offered to print a white border on the print to give it that look or suggested that she opted for the print only and sourced her own mount and frame. I was a little disappointed because it went quiet after that so I assumed she'd moved on. But I was glad I had realised this without someone ordering one being unhappy with it leaving me with an expensive refund. So although my 3 mockups showing the actual frames you'd receive show no mount I'm going to change something to make it even more obvious. Lesson learnt. However, before I've had chance to look at it along came this order! So I've had to msg them and just let them know how it will arrive and just confirm they are happy with that before proceeding. Hoping to get a response to say yes and I can go ahead but at least I've asked and again can avoid a unhappy customer and a refund. Has anyone else ever had anything similar? Super happy either way. Views and favourites have been on the increase this last week so I felt like one was coming. Anyone still waiting. Hang in there.

Well done on your first sale!! 🍾 That does sound like a stressful first order, especially as its such a large print. I hope your new customer is happy with how it will arrive and gives you the green light to print.
Paper type. Choice or no choice?
Hi everyone, i am a newbie here and I have to say how great it is to see such an active community offering helpful advice and genuine support. I haven't opened an Etsy shop yet, just finalising designs and ordering some posters myself to see the finished product. I do have a question about the paper choices and would be keen to hear from others about what you offer: In one of Tom's videos he talks about just using Satin as this works well for pretty much all types of designs. Does anyone offer their customers a choice when it comes to paper? Do you state that it can be printed on Matte, Satin or Gloss? Or, do you just stick to one type and not mention the other types? Also, if you only print on Satin have any of your orders gone out on Matte even though you have selected Satin across all your prints in Print Shrimp? Thanks in advance
