Over the next few days, I’ll be building out Grid VIP benefits, including Grid-Verified Stays — safe housing options near plants that will save you 50% or more of your per diem and eliminate the usual housing headaches. Grid Stays will be stays near plants that offer a huge discount to Grid members only to save 50 to 70% of their per diem without having to go on a hunt as they will all be listed off in the Grid. Search the plant or state you will be working in and they will pop up. You don’t need to do anything. As long as your membership stays active, you keep your grandfathered VIP status — even as pricing increases for new members. Canceling or lapsing will reset VIP eligibility. Hey everyone, Just wanted to share about my experience so far reaching out to recruiters. So far I’ve been able to get ahold of Cora Huey through DZ and Terrence Ball through RSCS. They were both friendly and helpful. DZ has a couple Jr Decon roles that they are hiring for in the spring outages (February 7th and one for April 19th.) I talked to Terrence today and he said they are currently only looking for Decon roles with experience. He said to check back after the 2nd of the year to see if they made any changes, so I will be doing that. Hopefully everyone looking to get in can get in this spring, if not the fall!
