Wednesday Weigh In
Every Wednesday, I encourage you to share your progress here! So you can weigh yourself in the morning and then share.. if you’re down, by how many pounds, (or kilos) stayed the same, or went up. This is a place that is completely judgement free. We are here only to support and encourage you in every way we can! 🥰

I’m down almost 2 pounds this week, bringing me into my second week of progress. Even with a couple of deviations, I stayed on track and had a successful week. Pasta has always been a weakness of mine, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite when I had it. Chips are another favorite, but for the past couple of weeks I’ve walked right by the chip aisle at the supermarket without buying any. It may seem like a small thing, but it felt like a big win and showed me that positive habits are starting to take hold. I’m learning that I don’t have to be perfect to make progress. Consistency is what matters most.

I’m down a pound and a half this week which totals 6 pounds. I’m glad the scale is slowly going down 😊. I’m going to continue focusing on my portions!!
Carrot Raisin Oatmeal Power Bars
1 ½ cups spelt or kamut flour)- or replace ½ cup flour with ½ cup protein powder 1 ½ cups rolled oats 1 tbsp cinnamon ½ tsp allspice ½ tsp salt ½ cup maple syrup 8 drops liquid Stevia ½ cup safflower or canola oil (first cold pressed) ½ cup tahini (sesame butter) 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated 1cup walnuts chopped 1 cup carrots grated fine 1 cup raisins 1. Preheat oven to 350. Combine the first five dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix the next seven wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Add the wet to the dry ingredients and mix well so no lumps of flour remain. Fold in the walnuts, carrots and raisins evenly. 2. Oil a 8x8 baking dish (or a little bigger). Scrape all the batter from the bowl into the dish and smooth the top. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown and a skewer comes out clean. 3. Cool to room temperature for one hour before slicing into bars. They freeze well

My name is Maria and I’m from Montreal. I was doing well, consistently exercising (walking and strength training) and eating well most of the time. I felt amazing, had so much energy, slept well…. Then my daughter hurt herself and couldn’t walk so she came to stay with me for about 3 months and my schedule changed and I focused on my daughter and helped her. I wouldn’t have it any other way. My daughter is doing much better and I need to get back on track. I need to focus on ME now 🙏😊 I started my daily walks with my dog in the morning. I need to get back into my strength training and to eating healthy at least 80% of the time. I need to go back to feeling as good as I was. I’ve followed your program in the past as you know and I was successful and felt great. I need to learn to stick with it forever!! I look forward to getting back on track. Thanks for listening ☺️

I start my day with a walk with my dog. I walk for about 20-30 minutes. I feel great after the walk! I’m getting back to weight training. Yesterday I did upper body workout for about 25 minutes.
