Prone to Standing Rope Climb
A great movement to help build rope climb ability, but also as a pull variation that’s more interesting than ring rows. With your body held rigid and straight, pull hand over hand to climb the rope and reach a standing position. Reverse this slowly under control to return to the ground. Regression Tuck your feet under you and use them to assist the movement. The more you use your legs, the easier the movement becomes.

This is a solid breakdown! I love how you highlight not just the climb itself, but the importance of control on the way down that’s where a lot of strength and stability work really kicks in. Using the tuck-and-assist option is such a smart regression, too it lets people build confidence and technique while still challenging their pulling muscles. Definitely a more engaging alternative to standard ring rows.
