Review from India not .com?
I received a review from amazon.in which was one of my $2.99 promotions. How do we stop this as I state that my region is USA and I do not want to waste my few promotions on non-.com reviews? Also as $2.99 promotions are pretty hard to receive at the moment can you prevent them being taken from a marketplace that is no help to the author. Thanks :) @Adriano Ferrigno

@Adriano Ferrigno I guess so. I understand why it is difficult but it is something I will have to keep an eye on for myself as I really do not want to be paying for non .com reviews. I do understand why it is needed for people outside of the US market.

if they do not become visible then the author should receive a credit to get an additional promotion. What do you think reference this? Thanks.
Issues with BookVillage
When I go to choose a book to read, I get shown the same 5 books over and over. We should be able to choose the book we want to read. Then, when I click OPEN THIS BOOK, I see that it has the info about the book. Then a button to look at the book on Amazon. This is not good. You should not be sending traffic from BookVillage to Amazon about a book and then we purchase the book and Amazon knows where the referral came from. Amazon can track that behavior. Why do you do that? At least just have it so that when you click the button it copies the book's Amazon URL and then we copy and paste the URL it into our browser. That why the referral does not come from BookVillage.

@Scott Phelps Unfortunately there have been no books the last few days when I have been looking. I will read anything and give it a fair review.

I don’t mind so much not having a wide range of choices to review. As long as there a books available then for me the system works well.
Will there be more $2.99 promotions coming soon?
I’ve tried for the last 3 days to book a $2,99 promotion and there have been zero books available. I have checked at various times throughout the day and nothing is showing. It is feeling like a catch 22 because how can I make my book available for others to review if I can’t earn credits by reviewing other books…. Is there a fix coming soon? Thanks.

Hi, Thanks for the info. Yes your example makes sense. I am only reviewing $2.99 promotions as it is not a fair trade to complete 3 reviews of $0.99 promotions and my book is only as a $2.99 promotion also. It is a difficult one. I like the system when it is working and will continue to use it, assuming there are $2.99 promotions available. Thanks.
Anyone else seeing delays with reviews?
I posted one (verified purchase) about 10 days ago and it’s still not showing. When I checked the book page, it looks like Amazon isn’t allowing my account to review that specific book, even though I can review others. Haven’t had this happen before—just wondering if this is normal right now or if something’s off. I'm not sure what to do.

I had the Sam issue with Amazon happen for just one book. Support at BV sorted it out for me no problem so you’ll be all good.
No titles to review in the $2.99 category
Hi, Is the lack of books available to review a temporary thing. I went on now to book a promotion and there are only 2 books showing in the $2.99 promotion tier? Makes adding my own promotion pretty much stuck….? Am I missing something obvious?

Doesn't really answer my question though. Is this a temporary thing whilst the user-base increases? Because it ends up with me reviewing the one book that was available at the time in order to be able to get my own book seen. And although I always read the books i purchase, when it is a completely unrelated field of interest it makes the process feel a little fake in terms of my feedback. It can become a chicken and egg situation if there are authors wanting to promote their book but there a no promotions available to allow that to happen. Hope I am making sense! The service is great when it has inventory but a little frustrating to use when none to choose from (meaning the $2.99 verified which is pushed as the most safe way to proceed).
