"Mother to Many": The Story of Biyinzika Prossy 💝✍ Before Grace for Africa Child Care ever had a name, a building, or a school, it had something far more powerful: a mother’s open arms. When Pastor Dan first shared his vision with his wife, Prossy, to open their home to vulnerable, orphaned children wandering the local streets in survival mode, it didn't come as a surprise. It felt like a promise coming full circle. Having grown up without parents to care for her, Prossy knew the exact weight of that loneliness. As a young girl, she had quietly carried a prayer in her heart: one day, I want to protect children who have no one. When God brought her a husband who shared that exact same calling, she knew her childhood dream was becoming reality. So when Pastor Dan walked through the door with their very first six children, Prossy didn't just welcome them—she embraced them as her own. From that day on, she stepped fully into her role as a mother. She cooked, comforted, listened, and taught them discipline, respect, and faith. As the news spread and the number of children in need grew, her heart only expanded to fit them all. That living room full of children grew into what we now know as Grace for Africa Child Care. Today, every child who walks through the gates knows her by one precious name: Mother. "I have been, I am, and I will always be a mother to all the children of Grace for Africa. He who shows kindness to the poor lends to God, and He will reward them for what they have done." 🙏🙏 — Prossy Biyinzika (Proverbs 19:17) 💬 Community Discussion & Engagement Prossy’s journey reminds us that every great mission is built on love, sacrifice, and deep personal empathy. 💖💖 👉 Let's shower "Mother Prossy" with some love today! 💌 Drop a comment below with a quick message, a prayer, or a heart emoji to thank her for being a sanctuary for so many precious children! 👇
