Unfortunate Equipment sale - Australia
Hi All, Life has taken a little bit of a turn and I'm not going to have room and time for my sublimation printing anymore at this stage. If anyone is looking for equipment at a good price, DM me and we can negotiate something. Otherwise all the gear will go into storage for a while unfortunately. I haven't advertised anywhere yet, thought id reach out to this community first. Its all in excellent condition, only 200ish presses for the press. The printer still has oven a year factory warranty included. Below is the big gear i have, plus i have paper and inks i will throw in to who ever buys them. this is the press i have : https://www.sublimationsupplies.com.au/product/digital-auto-open-sliding-tray-heat-press-16-x-24-inches-40-x-60-cm-quality-cheap-australia-qld-nsw-vic-sa-nt-wa-sublimation-htv-dtf/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22128368312&gbraid=0AAAAABmD9dlx9vkmuA-Wb1to5Kf4ueYhO&gclid=Cj0KCQjw8vvABhCcARIsAOCfwwpMJcabmK_HG9cTAMcMc1ocsC60M9-DraUjRtI24MrYjYBbdGSurZUaAiPzEALw_wcB This the printer: https://shop.machinesplus.com.au/products/epson-surecolor-f560-dye-sublimation-printer?variant=46213229609130
New Shop!
I’ve been pretty inactive the last few months. Been trying to get a new shop and was finally able to make it happen this week. The last shop was really difficult to work out of for various reasons which led me to not taking hardly any orders or working much in the business. I’m really happy with this place so far. It’s the perfect size and right down the road from my old one. I can finally start filming lots of videos again and it’s nice having a place I can hangout at all day and work. Was not expecting to move into a new place anytime soon but this one came available last week and I didn’t want to miss it. I’ll be in here for likely the next 12 months. Just need to get some more shelving and fill the walls with art. It feels good to start taking orders and filming again!

Chromaluxe Heat Pressing
I read a post on Reddit from the owner of ShinyPrints about heat pressing Chromaluxe blanks. He said they press them for 9-10 minutes at around 350f for the best results. He said this doesn't matter as much on smaller blanks below 20x30" but when you get bigger than that it helps to give the image a more clear transfer and better colors. I haven't tried it yet but he's really smart and they make amazing prints. I will be giving it a try at some point. I'm not sure if this will be as effective for other brands and most of you don't do large prints anyways (I don't either). It will be interesting to the the difference in the future when the time comes to make larger prints

Blacks ain't black
I'm having a bit of trouble getting blacks to be black and not this washed out grey/blue. I think a lot has to do with the Metal product. But on some of the great quality metal I get it, but I am abke to mitigate it with high pressure, heat and time. This metal burns it I leave it too long. Any suggestions? I also have 2 types of mate for my press. One is a hard foam, the other is like a rubber. Suggestions with this tik?

BeautySub Easel
Anyone used easels from BeautySub Supplier? This was my first time using it and it fell apart while packing. Any other recommendations for other reliable options?

Ooooo that's not cool 😕 I have bought this yet, and maybe I won't now. It shouldn't do that at all.
