I had the opportunity to make this large sign for a friend. It’s a 40”x60” image printed on 4x 20”x30” panels. I charged $1600 to do this. (8x 20”x30” panels total). These pictures don’t do it justice. This was double sided so traffic can see it from both directions. It will be placed outside under a frame that they built with lighting and a roof. I don’t recommend using these outdoors but we’re testing a uv glass over them that will hopefully reduce up to 99% of uv. I’m not sure what it’s called but I will get more info on it and let you guys know. I also left a gap down the middle as you can. This is to make up for the bleed edge when printing and also so the panels can expand and shrink in the weather without touching each other. I’m really excited to see how this works out. It was for a friend so we were willing to test a new idea. I also have someone else that wants one made after seeing this. They want a 60”x90” which I quoted them $3600 total. I’m telling you prices because it’s really good profit margin and these customers have money to spend because a big sign on the highway can bring in lots of business. 1 job from these signs can pay for more than the sign. This almost makes it easier than selling a cheaper print to someone who’s putting in there house. If you can attach a money making opportunity to your customers, it becomes a good incentive for them to purchase from you. Just some food for thought for anyone who wanted some different ways to sell products. I also have a video of me making this and will post it once everything’s finished
