Hi everyone!! I’m so happy to be back in this group. Just a heads up this is not a sales post, I just wanted everyone to see what I’ve been up to lately and I thought the prompt could help someone too 💜 Hope it’s ok to post this here @Sarah Prout if not please delete This morning I spoke to a mom who’s very interested in my Kindness Card Making workshop. She’ll be bringing her daughter to it very soon 😍 I was explaining to her how the Kindness Cards are made and that the whole purpose of them is to empower your child to speak to themselves kindly because they will be writing their own cards, I’ll just be there to guide them through it. The mom I spoke to was worried that because her daughter speaks to herself so unkindly right now that when she started speaking to herself kindly it would feel “fake” to her. You can see my answer to her and read some of our beautiful conversation in the comments below. I mentioned that in the beginning it probably would feel fake at first, just because her daughter is not used to saying kind things to herself, but with daily practice it will become natural for her to speak to herself kindly and in the process she’ll begin to love herself more 🩷 So now I want to share this quote I created for this mom and give you all an opportunity to use it with your kids too. Have them write 10 ways they were kind to themselves in the last 24 hours. It could be simple things like, “Today I was kind to myself when I gave myself a compliment and said I like the shirt I’m wearing.” Something simple like that 💛 And if they can’t think of 10 things on the first day, maybe they can start small and just write down 3 ways they were kind to themselves just for today! 🥰 I’m so excited to begin again and bring my Kindness Card Making workshop into the world. It will be hosted at the library. All supplies will be given by me and it’s just $50 to attend the class.
