Honest review: I found this mini-course to be a real game-changer. It’s a fantastic resource for both parents and swimmers who want to understand why kids might be struggling. The course clearly explains the benefits of mental training and why it’s so crucial. I particularly liked the short video highlighting the 7 common mistakes parents unknowingly make – I definitely recognised myself in a few of those situations! The assignments were a fantastic way to apply what we learned. Completing the assignments helped solidify my understanding and provided practical strategies that I can implement with Sasha. He is already revisiting his mind set. A big thank you to @David Karasek for sharing your expertise and insights.
4. Olympic Plan Assignment
Assignment #1: Are you and your child going to use the Anxiety Advantage? Confident that is going to help, so yes we are going to use it. Assignment #2: If yes, what are the roadblocks? If no, what is the reason? The main roadblock is to visualise 1% improvement. Sasha understands the theory behind but if he can not see it I am worried the continuity slips

3. The Tools Assignment
Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway are fundamental tools, Breathing and Visualisation. Breathing to keep mind calm to able to visualise the road to success to make it possible to arrive to the destination of the success. Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is to keep consistency. If I can programme my kids to use these tools in couple of months than they will have it for life. Assignment #3: as mentioned above, this technique is well applicable in any environment, not just in sport.

2.Missing piece
1. Takeaway - mind controls the process, if mind is trained then the process is smooth and predictable. 2. Challenge - achieve the consistency in using mind to control the process 3. Once the mind is in control, confidence is up, everything can be enjoyed. That what I want for my kid, be in charge of his actions

1. Biggest Mistake Assignment.
1. My biggest takeaway is to take away all the wrong challenges from my kid mind. PB, Swimming to beat someone, or compare him self to other competitors. 2. My biggest challenge is to keep my son positive. He isn't negative but if something doesn't work once he want to change it. I want him to be more patience, also to understand the process of true development. As Davd said, look at the outcome/result and decide what needs to be done. 3. Plan is to focus on what needs to be done in the lane of action. The preperation and process of delivery. Swim in training to the best of our abilities. Race day is only a party to show what we can do.
