Sunset - How Long Is Yours?
A couple of months ago, I stood on a beach in San Francisco on a hot day and watched the sunset. I was in the middle of filming a video when I realized something strange: The sun was not setting. Every time I stand on the shores of the Mediterranean, the same shores where Jesus once stood, it takes the sun two minutes from the moment it touches the horizon until it completely disappears, sometimes ending with a green flash. But during this video shoot in San Francisco, it took about eight minutes from start to finish. I had to find out why. Latitude was the answer I received from my short research. The farther north or south you are from the equator, the more gradually the sun approaches the horizon, which can make the sunset appear to last longer. The light of sunrise and sunset is not only pleasing to the eyes and soothing to the soul; it may also influence the retina, the brain, our circadian rhythm, and our overall sense of well-being. Photographers call it the Golden Hour because everything takes on a warm, golden glow. Where is your favorite place to watch the sunset? And when was the last time you took a moment to stop and watch one? 🌅

Thank you. I live in an urban environment, so the sun sets over buildings.... even so, I will try to remember to give it some attention. Thanks again.

Workshops in the Holy Land
The Body Can Change Last weekend I organized a full-day workshop with Meir Schneider at the Marina in Herzliya, on the shores of the Mediterranean. One of the advantages of an all-day workshop is that it gives enough time for people to experience hands-on work. During the day, Meir invited one participant onto the treatment table. She had a forward head posture and a noticeable rounding of the upper back. After just a few minutes of gentle hands-on work, she stood up looking visibly more upright than when she had first laid down. Everyone in the room noticed the difference. It was a beautiful reminder that the body is not fixed. It is constantly adapting. Sometimes through gentle movement. Sometimes through skilled hands-on work. And often through a combination of both. That is the philosophy behind everything we teach. The body can change. The eyes can change. Movement can change us. This is the message of Self-Healing. Over the past year, working alongside Meir Schneider has reinforced something I have believed for many years: When we combine Meir's Self-Healing Method with the ancient principles of Chinese Qi Gong, we create something even more powerful. I call that integration SEE-Gong, where movement strengthens the body, relaxes the nervous system, improves circulation, and supports healthier vision. This is only the beginning of the journey.

I am interested in your "SEE-gong". Thank you for reminding me that the Eyes can Change, the Body can change, the Mind can change. Unfortunately, the physical takes the longest to change. Impatience is my bugaboo.
