This is a focused follow-up to 1.7.7. It fixes checking tasks off with your pen on the reMarkable Paper Pro, and tidies up how task pages appear on the reMarkable Move. What’s new Pen check-off works again on the Paper Pro A few of you reported that checking a task off with your pen on the Paper Pro stopped doing anything, while the same thing worked fine on the Move. A recent reMarkable software update shifted where the Paper Pro reads your pen marks, so a check could land just outside where CalSync was looking and nothing happened. CalSync now reads your pen marks accurately on the current software, so a check on the tablet completes the task the way it should. If you had this issue, update to 1.7.8, push your planner, and your pen checks will register again. Move task pages only appear on days with tasks On the reMarkable Move, a task page used to be added to every single day, even days with nothing on them. Now the task page shows up only on days that actually have a task, so your planner is not padded with empty task sheets. The Tasks icon appears only on the days where there is something to open, and it respects your time zone so tasks land on the correct day. Existing Move planners will pick this up the next time you regenerate and push them. This update also includes smaller fixes and refinements under the hood. This update brings your daily sleep screen back, adds a task page to the reMarkable Move, and fixes how overnight events appear on the day view. What's new Your sleep screen shows your day again Some of you noticed your tablet's sleep screen stopped showing the day's events a few weeks ago. This lined up with a reMarkable firmware update that changed how the sleep screen works. CalSync was still sending your daily view to the tablet, but the tablet no longer displayed it when it went to sleep. CalSync now: Writes your day to the new sleep screen the current firmware uses. Shows today's agenda again the moment your tablet sleeps. You can also choose how your sleep screen looks. In Settings, pick between: Full screen, a clean full-page view of today's agenda. Rotating cards, the original carousel style if that is what you prefer. If you had this issue, update to 1.7.7, run a sync, and let your tablet go to sleep once to see the new screen. Tasks now work on the reMarkable Move The reMarkable Move now has its own task page. Your Top Three and Tasks lists get a full page on any Move planner. You can open it from any day with a single tap, and a matching tap takes you back to the day. You can also check items off with your pen, just like on the Paper Pro. We calibrated pen check-off to the Move so your marks register the same way. Every Move planner style includes the task page, and you can connect your task accounts right in the app. Existing Move planners will get the task page the next time you regenerate and push them. Overnight and multi-day events show on the day view Events that run past midnight or span more than one day now appear on the day view. Previously these events showed in your Week and Month views but could be missing from the Day page. They now appear everywhere they should. Is the task check off feature working with a reMarkable Paper Pro and Microsoft To Do for anyone? I just udated to Calsync ver. 1.7.6, but checking off a task on my reMarkable still has no effect on the task in To Do.
