What's your DAW?
What DAWs is everyone using and why did you choose that particular one or more? Mine is Steinberg Nuendo 4.3. I also just got FL Studio.

Reaper. My reasons at the time were for price ($60), reliability (crashes are rare and if it does it's due to a plugin), efficiency (very easy on system resources) and versatility (you can do pretty much anything you like with it). Since using it I have noticed that some other DAWs seem to have a nicer flow or look prettier, but these are probably customisable as well, just haven't tried too hard.

Hi @Linda Linda I got into this about a year ago, after a couple of false starts. I've done several of the short courses here, which have been great. I recently started on the vip program so working through that atm. How about you?

I have just bitten the bullet on this little baby. Strata is a lightweight frequency analyser plugin pair that shows multiple track spectra one on top of another, so you can see where you need to cut, boost, etc. As my ears are a way off where I would like them to be, (they are on each side of my head so that's a start I guess πŸ™ƒ) I am hoping a little visualization for EQ'ing will help. Go have a look (you know you want to! 😁) https://www.cricketsaudio.com/products_strata

Music Production 101 - Samples And Loops Project
Finally can make a post, so I'm gonna upload a few of these. Was on the website before it moved back to Skool, but I've been taking the course slowly. So far the course has been very enlightening and helpful for me. I'm a musician so I'm hoping to make some decent recordings and track of my own music when I finish the course. Here's my Samples and Loops Project: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fQS1z1ejasckYdOvtjLdtRKzYFVUviuq/view?usp=drive_link Had a lot of fun and learned a lot messing around with this one. Let me know what you think! Comments and constructive criticism are appreciated.

I liked the slow buildup, with the constant arpeggiation adding more tension against the slow moving tones - nice job
