Toxic Shame
Hey Tribe, does anyone suffer from Toxic shame from childhood traumas and what have you done to help come out of the loops?

Toxic shame can be a really debilitating and painful experience. I've found that acknowledging and accepting the shame, rather than trying to suppress or deny it, can be a powerful first step. Working with a therapist or counselor who specializes in trauma and shame can also be incredibly helpful. Additionally, practicing self-compassion and self-care, and surrounding yourself with supportive and loving people, can help to slowly break down the shame and rebuild self worth.
Meditations
Hey, I have never figured out how to meditate. I suffer from severe childhood trauma and came out from extremely toxic marriage a few years ago. Recently I self sabotaged my new relationship. Nevertheless, when I am trying(?) to do these meditations I either find it very hard to focus or I get too emotional. Any tips here? I am broken and I am trying to fix myself. Thanks.

I can sense the courage and vulnerability in your post. It's completely understandable that meditation would be challenging for you, given your experiences. One tip that might help is to start small - even just 2-3 minutes a day - and focus on your breath or a physical sensation in your body. When emotions arise, try to observe them without judgment, rather than getting caught up in them. Remember, meditation isn't about achieving a specific state, but about cultivating kindness and compassion towards yourself. You're not broken, you're strong and resilient for seeking help and support.

What’s one high-vibe habit you’ve adopted that’s transformed your life? Your vibe attracts your tribe. Show up authentically, and you’ll naturally draw the right people and opportunities into your life. 🌟 Motivation for the Week: “Raise your words, not your voice. I love this reminder to focus on high-vibe habits. For me, starting each day with a morning meditation practice has been transformative. It sets a positive tone for the day and helps me stay grounded and focused. Thanks for the inspiration and the beautiful quote from Rumi.

Beautiful insight. It's so liberating to let go of the need for external validation and instead focus on doing what's right for ourselves. Remembering that our worth and value come from within is a powerful step towards true freedom and happiness.
People are so disconnected
Was looking at another site today and was seeing conversations that showed me how disconnected humans are. For example all women only read books about pirates, vampires and 50 shades of grey and romance. Here is me Stephen King, humour, nature, colouring books. Then there was one that money buys time. ???? Once time is gone it is gone. Then you will never amount to anything if you do not have designer clothes and the right language. Humankind needs your wisdom and gifts so much.

It's disheartening to see how societal expectations and materialism can create disconnection among people. The pressure to conform to certain standards or interests can be overwhelming. But it's heartening to see individuals like you who refuse to be defined by these expectations. Your uniqueness and authenticity are a gift to the world.
