📅 This Month Inside: August Roadmap
Here’s what’s coming inside the group this month — each piece designed to help you coach with more clarity, confidence, and precision. Based on the questions and comments that have come in so far, this is what to expect... 🔍 1. Live Client Assessment Breakdown (Loom Drop) I’ll walk you through an actual client movement assessment — ➡️ What I saw ➡️ My thought process in real time ➡️ What it told me about programming decisions No fluff — just real-world coaching logic. This will go live in the Movement Assessment Toolkit section next week. 🧠 2. New ‘Principles in Practice’ Mini-Lessons • How to practically progress and regress exercise in a way that makes sense • Bridging the gap between assessments and programming • Understanding relative strength for better exercise selection Short, actionable, principle-first. Expect 1–2 of these per week. 💬 3. New Thread Posts You’ll see more behind-the-scenes posts on:• How I used the Movement Assessment Toolkit to triple my online sign-ups • Why clarity builds trust — before a single rep is performed • The most overlooked part of buy-in (it’s not what you think) Feel free to jump in, share, ask questions — that’s what this space is for. 👇 What You Can Do Now - 🔔 Turn on post notifications - 📌 Watch the Toolkit Walkthrough if you haven’t - 🧠 Drop any assessment or programming dilemmas below — I might use them in a future breakdown Let’s make August a big one. — Mike

i have a similar thing with a client who gets stiffness in her neck and trap region doing deadlifts i have put it down to having an awkward head position but its happened every once in a while with a neutral head and neck position i also have a client whos dealing with sciatica and whilst i understand what it is and what can cause the flare ups i still feel like i could be making better decisions cheers Mike
WHY A BAND ASSITED/ cable assisted RDL?
Seen someone doing this the other day and wondered peoples opinion on it https://images.app.goo.gl/pb2HY

Outside of getting the client to unlearn the "squatting" type position i think the band assisted variation doesn't have much value after that The cable assisted variation confuses me more because the cable typically pulls the person forward as they travel down so the hips don't travel backwards it becomes a hamstring stretch more so than anything like a modified but worse SLDL
👋 Welcome to #introductions!
Share a quick intro so we can get to know you: - Your name & coaching background. - The client challenge you most want solved here. - One fun fact outside of coaching. - Make a new post for your own introduction Looking forward to seeing who’s here. – Mike

Sup lads and ladies My name is Mark I'm a part time trainer who's looking to become full time very soon and looking to soak up as much as I can I work with gen pop and if everyone were to put it to a vote they all want to make better decisions now to avoid making harder decisions down the line I feel confident in my ability to make decisions so far but I'm also a realistic and know there's bigger problems out there so being able to help people with bigger problems and be confident in my decisions is why I'm here Let's Get It 💪
