I have a book signing at Barnes and Noble in the Shops at Stonewall in Gainesville, VA, this Sunday, July 26, from 12-3pm. If your in or near the DMV, please stop by.
You cannot control the weather as an author. My book signing this weekend was accompanied by a deluge of thunderstorms. I sold four books in three hours. Sadly it doesnt cover the travel expenses for the weekend. But, sadly, this is the world of an indie author.
I am working on a steampink collaboration with a song writer. He does steampink style music and he wanted to put a story to his on stage persona. Im creating the story and he's adding lyrics to the story. We plan to include a QR code to allow people to download the songs. What do you think?
I just finished what I hope is the last edit on the sequel to my steampunk novel, its titled CORSAIR AND THE TEMPLE OF THE HEAVENLY CHARIOT. 74,400 words, about 10,000 less than the first draft. Now, to get it published by next year.
I have two book signing events on July. Ill be at the historic Moravian Book Shop in Bethlehem, PA, on Saturday, July 18, followed by Barnes & Nobles in Gainesville, VA, on Sunday, July 26. If you're in the area, please stop by.
@Eric Anderson Check out indie book stores, not just the B&N. I did an event at an independent bookstore in Manassas, VA, and it cost me nothing. Plus, find conventions fixed toward your genre. I do comic cons, fantasy, and steampunk conventions as well as book events.
