Group for 30k in 30 days challenge?
I'm thinking of doing the 30k in 30 days challenge starting July 1st . . . anyone want to start the same time so we can keep each other accountable?

If getting through 30K words of my rewrite/edit counts, I'm totally down! And @Zachary West you should start early and we can still keep each other accountable for whatever stage we're at in the process!
Here is a list of things that are not doing the thing:
“Preparing to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Scheduling time to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Making a to-do list for the thing isn't doing the thing. Telling people you're going to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Messaging friends who may or may not be doing the thing isn't doing the thing. Writing a banger tweet about how you're going to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on yourself for not doing the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on other people who have done the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on the obstacles in the way of doing the thing isn't doing the thing. Fantasizing about all of the adoration you'll receive once you do the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading about how to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading about how other people did the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading this essay isn't doing the thing. The only thing that is doing the thing is doing the thing.” — Strangest Loop I don't know about you guys, but when I feel like I'm "failing," I often find through self-reflection that I am doing something on this list other than doing the thing. Anyone else?

I'll be there!
Word... um.. up?
Hi friends. I think confabbing with like minded and hardworking authors might help me in my renewed efforts to level up my writing career. So here I am. Who am I? I mean, I want to say I'm Spiderman. Not Batman. But I'm not. I'm a guy who is doing his best to transform a truly abysmal, abusive childhood in an actual nomadic commune/kibbutz/cult into superpowers to help my family, my community, and myself build a better life. I've got 13 novels, 1 chapbook of gospel topics, and 1 academic writing workbook published. I write, speak, and home-make. Glad to be here.

Welcome!!! So glad to have you here!! What genre do you live in primarily with your novels?
What took me so long?
More than twenty years to finally finish my first book. Aiming for 18 months for number two!
