🥱Are you a robot or what??? Act like a human bro…
Alright yo what’s up boys, so I had this convo the other day with this guy who’s doing IG DM automation and the first thing I noticed is like bro… his messages were stiff as hell. He’s out here like “Hey, how are you doing? I made this video…” and obviously nobody replies to that kinda stuff, it’s boring as f*ck hahaha. You gotta stop sounding like some corporate bot, man. Nobody wants that. Write like you’d actually talk to someone face to face. Like instead of “Hey how you doing” Just hit them with a “Yo sup bro you good?” That’s already way better. And then for your follow-up? Don’t do the “Hey just following up” sht. Be funny, be weird. Something this guy implemented after out call was: “Reply or I’ll be dying in my basement 😂” And yeah it’s dumb but that’s what works. Makes them laugh, it’s personal, it breaks the pattern. That’s what most people f up They go too professional. Nobody wants a formal pitch in their DMs. Be casual, be funny, say whatever you’d say. So like literally write whatever’s in your head. If you’d say “yo go away my guy” IRL, put that in the message. Don’t force anything. People can smell that desperate “please reply” energy from a mile away. Here’s what you gotta do: - Stop overthinking and sounding like a suit - Write like you talk — slang, jokes, emojis, all that - Make it funny so you actually stand out - Don’t care so much — people can feel when you’re too needy - Just say what you’d actually say in person That’s it. Drop your opener or your follow-up in the comments and I’ll review it for you. Let’s go boys, let’s make this sh*t work. Watch the loom here

very good point @Pepijn Verheijen -- now even more so than ever in order to stand out from the bots that are everywhere anyway. And bringing in who you are just keeps it real!
Don't Trade Ignorance for More Ignorance
In the world of online marketing, one of the most commonly taught strategies is to be contrarian—to take an opposing view. This approach is powerful. It creates a compelling marketing message and can grab attention. But in the pursuit of being contrarian, there’s a dangerous trap that many fall into: trading one ignorance for another. The Trap of Contrarianism When you take a contrarian stance, you're often positioning yourself against an existing belief, claiming that the other side is wrong or ignorant. But if your opposing view is just as uninformed, you're no better off—and you may even come across as foolish. You risk becoming nothing more than the flip side of someone else’s flawed perspective. The key is not just to be contrarian for the sake of being different, but to identify real ignorance and counter it with actual truth. A well-formed contrarian stance isn't just about disagreeing—it’s about finding a deeper understanding that others may have missed. A Real-World Example: AI and Writing Since I work in the AI space, I see this all the time. Many writers and marketers attack AI-generated content, claiming that without a human touch, all AI-written content is worthless. There is some truth to that—right now, AI still requires human oversight to ensure quality. But this argument also exposes the ignorance of those making it. Yes, AI still needs human refinement today. But it won’t always. The trajectory of AI development is clear: it is improving rapidly, and soon it will be better than humans at many writing tasks. Those who build their entire marketing message around the idea that "AI content is garbage without a human" are setting themselves up for a reality check. Their argument isn’t rooted in long-term truth—it’s a short-term justification for their own value in the marketplace. If you want to make a strong argument, it has to hold up not just today, but in the future as well. Otherwise, you’re just swapping one form of ignorance for another.

it's also a matter of conscience to NOT use AI or, if you do, do it very sparingly. I use it for SOME (very select) aspects of my work, so nobody can accuse me of being "ignorant" -- also, it's (very much!) open to debate what' more ignorant: using it or not using it :))) Not saying it's all bad, but calling it "intelligence" is stupid. So-called AI is a tool, like a calculator or a bunch of other things we us, nothing more and nothing less. The fancy fact alone that it uses Natural-Language Queries and can hit up things from a database a little faster than you can with a few mouse-clicks doesn't make it very "intelligent", does it So let us use this misnomer whenever it's useful, but let us not fall for any fallacy it was somehow "better" or "more intelligent" than the humans who built it. That's stupidity.
I Need A Favor 🙏
Could you 🌟 (star) the No-Code Architects Toolkit on GitHub? (you will need an github account) https://github.com/stephengpope/no-code-architects-toolkit This will benefit us all and bring more people to help contribute to the toolkit, we've had a rise of outside developers adding new features or helping with bugs, which is awesome! Let see how many stars we can add to it! It's at 341 right now. Thanks in advance! 🙏

don't let AI tell your wife or girlfriend Good Morning though, not everybody likes AI @Augustas Kligys: might backfire ;) There are certain (and pretty limited) places for useful AI use IMHO...

@Dwight Taylor (and @Naif Saad) -- then "Hello Chicago, I'll drink to that!" -- quoting the conductor in the movie onboard the Silver Streak (or what remained of it)! No train wreck for anyone in this group, of course; much rather, it's nice meeting you! Good luck w/ everything...
SKILLS not TOOLS
Focusing on Facebook ads or SEO or Email marketing wont take you to the promised land. Those are simply tools to convey a message to people. Powerful tools, but tools none the less. Over time and history, new tools have always come and gone. Some have lasted the test of time, like the hammer for example. Other's were replaced by much more effective tools. Think about how many farmers were displaced when the tractor came to be. So you're thinking, "Get to the point, Payam". You need to focus on building SKILLS rather than simply learning to use tools. Facebook ads and email marketing are here today...they might not be in a decade. What will ALWAYS be here are the skills of story telling, knowing how to use persuasion, understanding relationship building. These are the things that actually move the needle. Everything else is simply a tool. I have a marketing systems skool page and I'd love to have you there. This really is a passion of mine

you're spot on @Payam Bipar: this is also the big problem with AI if ppl believe it can replace SKILLS and they can now rely on only that tool...
