fantastic point @Paul Easton -- coincidentally, I just built a campaign to tell ppl "Don't build a website when you need one" touching on these exact points; what they often (much more often) need is simply a LP or a sales funnel. (Will watch the rest of the Coffee Meeting soon and see what you're getting at later on.)

great points you're raising @Kornelia Sophie Wagner, and it's right to assume Health is an overall high-competition topic. Much depends on the specific niche inside that general topic though. Either selecting an off-the-trodden-path one or finding (a different method of creating) your USP would be essential IMHO. Both steps will ultimately serve as a USP. Remember that Health or Wellness are part of the "evergreen" topics though that can have lots of potential, both for AdSense AND for building your own email list @Ellon John.

@Ellon John, also see https://www.skool.com/seo-and-digital-marketing/how-long-does-it-take-to-get-a-new-website-approved-for-google-adsense-and-what-is-the-potential-monthly-earning-after-approval?p=575959db Beyond what's mentioned there, you may also find lots of opportunities for co-operation: especially in Health, ppl are dying to buy backlinks from you; so if you select these properly (and if you're careful enough to not fall for some Blackhat-morons out there and get your website penalised or otherwise tainted that way), this might be an addditional source of income for you to explore. [Skool didn't seem to properly tag and highlight in that reply directly; it just didn't pop up, and I swear I did NOT accidentally type "Elton John" or anything...]
Newbie Incoming | Quick Intro
Hi All, My name is Mark -- total Noob in this group atm but hoping this changes soon ;) Let me briefly go into why I am here and what I'd love doing SEO-wise at this point: I have a number of projects going, all of which may benefit from more traffic, more sales, more conversions of course -- from a service business I run to online courses, audiobooks, product photos, videos, other content I produce. I also run Creator Setup (a free group of currently 200+ members here on Skool). All of 'em could use a little extra TLC, as stated. For that, I'm mostly using paid traffic these days. Doing paid ads pretty well and also successfully enough -- able to tell a thing or two on how to achieve 10%-55% CTR for just pennies with Google Ads, Rumble, A-Ads or other "Alts" off the beaten track, if anyone happens to be interested -- but would love to improve on the longer-term potential of what's left of "organic" these days. (I'm saying this as someone who has been in the field since 2009 when you were simply harvesting hundreds of *conversions* just by throwing out (up?!?) some stuff on Fb, but these days are long gone.) So what I'm looking for most rn is staying in the loop or "updating" my knowledge; would love to network, discuss, and learn with all of you together here in the group. Looking forward to it!
Question
How long does it take to get a new website approved for Google AdSense, and what is the potential monthly earning after approval?

Absolutely, @Tony Stuckless and @Paul Easton -- great points you're making (both of you). Initially @Tony's fear of distracting visitors, I totally agree (especially for a LP or a squeeze page where this would have no place at all, of course); and as in today's world all websites are kind of "useless" and may almost always replaced by "just" a LP this point is applicable almost all-round! If, on the other hand, you're running something "less commercial" (entertaining, educational and the like) then AdSense might MakeSense... (pun intended). Also note that you can always set your ads to open in a new tab to "preserve" your visitor on your own page! The point @Paul is making also is *always* the best option as it builds an asset *for yourself*; unlike those measly pennies coming in through AdSense, you *own* and *control* your list, and it may pretty quickly be worth a lot more than, say, some $50 to $100 you make through AdSense (if you're lucky -- obviously, unaware of your visitor stats, I could be under-estimating the value of your raw traffic)...
