Who is getting/got a new C64 Ultimate for Christmas? If yes, why did you buy one? If not, what type of 64 do you have and why do you like it?

Which were your favourites 64 game compilations? Of the few I bought mine were: Magnificent 7 by Ocean: Head Over Heals Cobra Short Circuit Frankie Goes To Hollywood Arkanoid Wizball The Great Escape Yie Ar Kung Fu Star Games by Gremlin The Way of the Tiger Barry McGuigan World Champ Boxing Beach Head II Rescue on Fractalus 6 Pak by Elite Scooby Doo Fighting Warrior 1942 Antiriad Jet Set Willy II Split Personalities Duet Compilations were a great chance before the days of downloads to play games you might have missed out on. I only got to play Wizball and Rescue on Fractalus because of these compilations.

I started gathering the cassettes I used to have as a kid, and then I started the Hit Squad trail. I also collect the Kixx tapes and Mastertronic. Im about 10 tapes away from owning every Mastertronic/Ricochet/Americana game for C64. Do you collect anything C64 related? Share yours here and photos? Whats the rarest game you own?

The C64 and arcade conversions have been linked since its very inception after all its first recognised game Jupiter Lander was a clone of Lunar Lander. Which were the best arcade conversations & which were the worst? which arcade games were you most looking forward to being converted to the 64 and were you happy or disappointed with the result? Which arcade game did you wish had been converted and wasn’t? Which arcade games did you only find out about after playing it on the 64? And were there any 64 conversions that were actually better than the arcade game they were taken from? I’ll start with Green Beret. I had never played this in the arcade but thought it was amazing on the 64. After the advent of MAME and finally getting to play the arcade version I actually think the 64 version is better.

What is the point of a Dead test Cart. If your C64 doesn't turn on then it is dead. Why buy a cart then. How can the cart tell you the machine is dead when it does not come on. Is it just me. I know the cart can see problems.
