Hi 👋 Intro + Solar Training Question
Hey, how is it going? Happy to be here. Just wanted to introduce myself briefly before jumping into questions. I used to live in nyc and bought my bread and paid my rent with music (a musician here). During Covid that all disappeared, so I did social media development and then worked as an appointment setter. Besides appointment setting I built the whole sales department from scratch (I like techy things too), and me and another girl helped together bring a half a million dollars in about 9 months (I know it’s not that much but for being in the “poor” musician niche I think it was pretty good since we had no idea what we were doing at first), while I was pregnant as well 😅. After having the baby motherhood took all my time, but now when the baby is walking, I’m trying to get back into the online world and be able to make income from home so I can still spend time with my baby as much as I can. I enjoyed appointment setting, but I put in 10 hour work days and I can’t do that right now. I’ve been following Corey for years and so happy to see everything he touches turning to gold. I did originally want to try to get into the AI in order to find leads for the funding opportunities at fundwise (that extensive training about it is still imprinted in my mind lol), but since the commercial solar is such a hot topic right now I would love to try that out. A fun fact: I remember when I signed up for fundwise when Corey wasn’t offering any kind of help with lead generation yet years ago and I created Facebook ads where people gave me their phone numbers. It was SO scary to pick up that phone and talk with cold 🥶 audience that I literally cried, I couldn’t do it. I also drove 2-3 hours to home development and farm shows to tell business owners about Project Blue, that also didn’t turn out that great, but it all lead me on a journey of pushing myself to be comfortable with strangers and my job as an appointment setter did just that, gave me the experience and the training (we trained with Cole Gordon). Now I know I’m ready to talk to anybody about any wonderful sales opportunity, so I think I could try my hand at the commercial solar systems (and AI too, but I don’t have any access to it yet)
