Warm up’s
I’m just interested what the coaches do for their matchday or training warm ups. We have a different slant on it but I’m genuinely interested to get other coaches thoughts
Glove type
Whats everyone's favourite cut of glove? I've used roll finger for years, but starting to like hybrid. Can't get on with negative at all.

I just love a roll finger!! You just have the most surface area to help you catch

@Jason Cross don’t think I could use anything else.
Most important coaching advice
What’s the once piece of advice you could give an aspiring coach. I’m newish to the world of specialising in GK as I’ve trained outfield teams for a number of years now and looking at building on GK coaching.

Don’t stop learning! Watch as many coaches as you can and take bits you like and merge them with your style. Just enjoy what you’re doing. Good luck for the future.
New 8 second rule
It’s really disappointing that the FA have introduced this new 8 second rule and no refs have in forced in any of preseason games. I spoke to today’s ref and politely asked why of which he told me it doesn’t come in until the start of the season and it’s a 6 second rule. Which are but completely wrong, but how are my keepers meant to get used to it if the ref don’t do it in pre season. 🙈🙈🙈

@Ray Newland I think at least 10 would be better but 8 is better than the old 6 seconds. Totally agree on the younger ages as I’ve never a younger keeper time waste. A phased approach is always better in my opinion.

@A Heys I thought that too. If your kicking it at 1 I don’t see the issue. Sounds like another overzealous ref!!
WOW 😃Still Inspiring Goalkeepers at 70+ 🚀
This is exactly why I continue to do J4K. For over 25 years now, J4K has inspired goalkeepers of all ages — from 5-year-olds just starting their journey, right through to legends like Paul Davies, still playing strong at over 70 years old. First of all, what an incredible inspiration Paul is — to still be captaining at international level beyond 70 shows the true power of passion for goalkeeping. And when someone with over 60 years of playing experience says J4K are the best goalkeeper gloves he’s ever worn, you know those words carry real weight. Thank you, Paul, not only for trusting J4K but also for continuing to inspire the goalkeeper community worldwide. Pauls Email… As promised photos of the recent over 70s international against England. Sorry no action photos or videos I was captain of Celtic Nations over 70s. Over the course of the day we played three times against England over 70s, games being of shorter duration at our age . The results being two 1-0 wins to England and a 2-0 win to Celtic Nations. All games were played in the right spirit, with the England team being well drilled and competitive, playing excellent football. For the Celtic Nations it was the first time we'd played together as a team, so took great pride in how well we did. I as always in competitive match wore my choice of match gloves, J4K, I've been wearing these for about two years. Getting a bit worn now but still excellent. I can honestly say they are the best gloves I've worn in over 60 years of playing, that includes big brand names Hope that this is what you want. Paul
